You could allways get the bike and sell the bits on… My only slight doubt was the rigid only fork, so im looking at a solaris now.

The 18 bikes one was a proto in team colours I believe. There’s still some stock about of the race bikes and frames. Im sure I read somewhere they’ll be coming back in the future after a redesign.

There is a review of the bolt long on the Ride it out website. My buddy also has one out in Morzine and loves it, it gets thrashed pretty hard and hes fitted 160mm forks. They are pretty tough bikes and can take alot of stick.

I think if I were ever to get an orange five whatever the wheelsize, it would have to be a custom build.

I’ve got both – coil u-turn sektors, prefer the Revs, real smooth.

its super easy. Your gran could do it. Worth stopping at the darkstar brewery – they do cheap beer in milk cartons. The american pale ale is lovely. I swapped out my butchers for DMR motos, glad I did.

Defo mount under the bar, much easier to activate. I have it on the right hand side even though I have 1×10 setup – shop messed up the order, but it works well and leaves my left hand to concentrate on doing skids. takes abit of faffing to get everything in place though.

Genesis are an understated cool brand, just look at their road bikes, and that vid… The alptitude is an awesome frame and id love one as an all round hardtail. In fact if you dont want your mates ill have it!

Maxxis Larson could be another option. I have DMR motos, used them recently on the South downs link as its flat the whole route. Not much fun if it gets muddy though but good on bone dry trails.

Will the lifts still accept bikes to the top and if so are there trails outside of the park worth riding? Sorry I have no idea about the area

Well I hope some of them take note that some folk still want to ride 26. Failing that just buy a 650b frame and stick 26 wheels on.

I had a 34T on mine but gone to 32 which feels spot on.

Ive had a grapil for 4/5 months now and also love it.
Just abit of balance, not had an issue with mine, and I use it for singletrack round Brighton and Surrey Hills etc, with some jumps thrown in.
….However I am keeping a close eye on the stays since DaveH mentioned it…and check over the bike after every ride. I guess you can have weld issues with any frame.

The geometry makes it one hell of a hoot, and I got a great deal from Plush hill cycles. I think its a well priced all rounder which can be used for a lot of riding. The suspension feels taut and very solid at the back, makes it great for climbing. I do think the stock bikes needs some upgrading though. – Wheels and tyres weigh an awful lot – the rubber queens are wire bead. I also changed the bar and stem. If you have big feet you can get a bit of rub on the seat stays although when I put on wide platform pedals this has gone completely.

@Sowhat you can always have a go on mine if you want.
