What sort of insurance was that?! Medical + repatriation generally covers into the millions! Your claim was pennies compared to bills you can rack up in the west

I donā€™t know what he had. He was living there and had a business for 4 yrs. He was riding a mx bike in the jungle and hit a tree. He was taken to a Thai mafia hospital and told the other hospital couldnā€™t help him! Obviously in his state he didnā€™t know what was happening and was just taken for a ride financiallyā€¦and us!

Whatever you do, make sure you have really good insurance! It cost Ā£62,000 to get our son home when he broke his back after a bike accident. His insurance wasnā€™t enough for such an injury!!!!

I,m thinking of selling my Scandal 19.5 if youā€™re interested in s/h? Had my shoulder replaced in May so I think I need to stop riding sadly. Iā€™m only in Thatcham and I know youā€™re local if you fancy popping round for a look?

You should ask to be referred to a shoulder specialist. I had various pains for years. In may I had a total shoulder replacement and they found the long head of my bicep was detached from the bone and had shrivelled too far to be re attached!. So far with physio I can lift my arm 90degs. No where near above my head!

Why is it shame on a club? Itā€™s not illegal and I doubt the club has a compulsory helmet rule. I rode with Newbury road club 20 years ago and the only time I wore a lid was at criterium races on private ground, I think they insisted not the club. I did TT.s many club rides and training runs without one as did everyone else. The only lid I saw was a aero one on a guy who had a low pro bike. I,ve just retired as a postie who did 22 yrs many on a bike without a lid until they insisted we wore them out and back to the delivery. Now I only wear one when out on the MTB as I,m tall and tend to find low branches and the greater risk of an off makes it sensible, I suppose it makes a difference that in my 63 yrs I,ve never banged my head any time I,ve fallen off!

Itā€™s very simple really, people have been brainwashed to believe Sales means bargains when really all it means is stuff being sold. You have to shop round to see if its a bargain. We have a carpet shop in Newbury that had ā€œSalesā€running for years.

Now you know why RMā€™s advert says ā€œwe love parcelsā€ its because they get your money for a service they donā€™t give and then make more money selling your goods on! see how the shares are rising? should please a few STWā€™s that bought them.

I started swimming regularly 2 years ago and found I damaged my shoulders quite quickly! I was ,nt swimming as far as you either. Waiting for results from an MRI I had this week, I have had injections in both shoulders to help with pain and have a severe tear in one of my rotator cuff tendons which they found with ultrasound. The other side has an impingement which hurts like hell now and I can only get by each day with prescribed painkillers. Hope you have more luck.

I ordered 2 sets for friends on Oct. 9th. From an ebayer in China, still havenā€™t arrived so have asked for re-fund , due to China post and RM now not liking batts. I thought that was the best move.

the advantage with envelops is that they donā€™t self discharge if left for periods unused like the Instants (vapextech) do. Use to do a lot of competition RC plane flying and we mostly used Eneloops.
