I’ve had one for a year now. use it every weekday for work and at weekends for longer rides. I think it’s brilliant plus I can stick on the off road tyres and use it for dualathlons etc get it bought :lol:

Just had this debate with myself for the last month, Ended up going for a second hand on one scandal 29er, lightweight aluminium with swappable drop outs. Did look at the lurcher but couldn’t bring myself to get one as I hate the look of the frame.

Just thought I’d give it a try seemed to work!

I just used their pads for the puffer, sintered type, cooked them in the oven before fitting, they done 14 laps and still have plenty meat on them, little bit off squeal for 1st lap then silent, I rate them highly and they are cheap.

If it was me I’d go for the hope bearing, Don’t mess about with the top hats.

I take high 5. But am now looking at other alternatives as don’t think they are that good?

Has anybody tried the pickle juice? I take it normal vinegar will work just fine as cant find much on net always refers to pickle juice?

I also suffer from bad leg cramps from anything over 3 hours when I’m pushing hard. Tried a few things and recently started trying salt tabs seemed to work for me on the last big event. But I am interested in the pickle juice. I notice it is for sale as shots in the USA like this

I had the symtoms you describe turned out to be the turbo. if the car was left idling its like it would build up with oil then when you took off lots of white smoke. it was fine when it was getting driven normally as it would just burn it slowly and not noticeable. worth a look?

I’m loving it! hydraulic brakes, single up front, 105 and a carbon fork plus it comes in my fav colour :lol:

I regularly take my Staffie out up the hills and woods.
She is very good and always runs behind the bike. but I would be wary of taking her to a busy trail centre. Plus as she has only short legs I have to take it easy on the decents as dont want her over doing it and doing herself an injury.
