It’s taken us over 3 years to get through cahms and get an ados assessment for my daughter. Honestly it’s been a nightmare. We have chased them all the way and finally after a 2 hour assessment last week they diagnosed her with autism. Cahms buggered up assessments along the way with the school. The school even had someone who had never met her fill in an assessment based on her year end reports when I insisted on reading it i knew. So that delayed things even more. Now taking her out of school as it’s not the correct environment for her. Just trying to establish the best course of action now.
Anyone who needs to go through this has my simpathy as it’s a long frustrating process.

Thanks guys. I’ve gone with the cheap hooks as tool station had them in stock and have got the 6 bikes stored for £12
Trail rat that looks a great idea and I’ll look into it when I have a bit more time as it will allow me to get N+1 in there also.

Guys I was working with in Pensylvania took me out one night shooting in one of their back yards. They all turned up with their arsenal and we shot the shit out of some targets. Got a shot of a magnum and an ar15. The guy that had bought the ar15 bought it because it looked cool and he seen it as an investment as thought they would get banned from sale soon. That was 3 years ago. Was a good night but scary to think that between 5 guys they had enough guns to do some real damage.

Sound like u might have been unlucky with your heater as guy I know who fits them has 4 in his own hire vehicles and they all work brilliantly. He also uses one to heat his office in the workshop in the winter.

The erberspacher when set down low overnight would stop and start all the time. And not keep a constant low heat was fine when turned up slightly but then got to hot. The Chinese copy has a better controller and is quieter can’t even hear the pump. Stay on at a constant low heat and costs less than a service of an erberspacher.

Lwb t4 owner here but not a vw fanboy s such I looked at a few vans but went with the vw as it had everything I wanted. Have a pop top they are not shite! Give u more space and the kids or another adult can sleep in it. I mostly use the van myself and can get my bike inside with a rock and roll bed fully extended. I’ve just changed out the old eberspacher night heater for a new Chinese version and it is much better and cost 85 quid! Well worth fitting one.
Yes it’s warmer with the roof down but not needed when the heater is running in the winter. I’ve got full side cupboards with sink hob and fridge.
If I was doing it again I would just go for a plug in cool box and removable hob/sink pod. Awning wise get something that isn’t too big and easy to put up as if just on an overnighter my awning is too much hassle unless we are out for a few days.

I’ve ridden From Inverness to corrour bunk house in a day. Left Inverness at 9am and think I got to the hostel about 9pm that included a leisurely lunch stop in Ft Augustus. The Corriarick is the hardest climb but good surface on the way up So judge your gearing on that. From bridge of balgie to Loch Earn is all quick road or cycle path.
Then depends if you go the proper route through Glen Ample. slow and you will be pushing some tech bits for a gravel bike. The decent is ok as surface is good. I’ve just done it the opposite way today on the mtb! Or u can skip it and take the cycle path alternative via Loch Lubnaig. On a nice day Glen Ample is stunning so worth the effort. Today it was grim! There is a couple of B@Bs in Laggan as an option. There is also a very good spot at Rannoch with cover if u are just taking a bivy. Calendar to Aberfoyle is fairly quick on good paths only 1 big climb. Certainly doable over 2 long days but there is some really stunning places on route so if it’s your only visit then as Colin says better to take a bit more time and soak it up. If it’s dry😀. If u want some company gimme a shout as could be up for doing it.

Saddle bag before bar bag for me. Especially if there are any decent rocky descents etc.
Btw the cheap pod sacs one from planet x is pretty good. I have the large version and use it on my gravel bike when taking a bit more stuff.
I’ve also got a wildcat one for smaller loads.

Live in Perth and used to go to the Academy. My Daughter now goes there. Both schools are pretty much similar just the Academy is the old building.
I’m up kinoul and deuchny area a fair bit so give me a shout if you want a tour. There is also some stuff nearer on St Magdelaines hill. (Not sure if I’ve spelt that right)

Sounds like a vacuum problem. If you ask for more throttle than usual on the same trip does it do it earlier?
Check breather hole in the cap. Check for any kinks in a fuel line. Did u have the tank lifted lately? Next time it cuts out pop the fuel cap open and see if it makes any difference.

BBC Fact Check (not knocking the documentary, haven’t seen it, just saw this on the Beeb this morning)

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/56660823

Ahh the BBC Government broadcating channel!
If the UK can’t stop bottom trawling in uk waters what hope do we have for other areas.
I see greenpeace have been sinking massive rocks in areas to try and combat the problem.
Worth a watch just the bycatch numbers alone are scary.

And why can’t I get this bloody quote function to work !!!

Roval ones especially the front are pretty heavy, 1980 grams for the pair front one is 940!
Plus I want to change the nx cassette so have to buy an xd hub anyway and it is £90 for the rovals so seems logical to upgrade all.

OK cheers guys looking at the selection on fitwheels what would you go for lightweight 29er wheelset budget below 500? I’ve no clue about all the different rims and hubs, 2.2 – 2.4 tyres full suss xc bike to replace std roval wheels.
    Cheers

It’s not Falls of Tarf. Just leave out the extra loop around Crieff and Loch Turret and should be good for your 8okm a day Train to from Perth.

I’m looking at these doors just now for my garage as they do reduced sizes. Mine is a marley prefab and currently does not have a side access door so I’m going to remove 2 prefab panels and replace with one of these doors. Only thing was they wanted 90 plus vat for delivery, so I’l probably just have to bite the bullet and get one ordered soon as it seems the less hassle way of putting one in!I was going to get one that opens out and combine with one of these as have one fitted to the shed currently and it’s great

Thanks that’s what has confussed me as I’ve had a look at the systems available on ebay etc and even contacted my local guy and had been told there was no Hikvision system that I could home install. Sounds like it is just talk to try and increase installs. because I can’t see it being to difficult to DIY?

Annke get decent reviews at the moment, quite cheap on Amazon, apparently some models are re-branded versions of more expensive brands! 1080P is probably fine for most purposes, if you need to see faces or read plates for security then maybe 4K. However night-vision is a whole other kettle of fish, often lower-res are better for night, if that’s the priority then look at cameras with great night performance first (they tend not to be cheap though!)

zilog6128 are these ok for self install As I’ve been looking at some of the hikvision ones but was told it would need to be professionally installed. Cheers

That leaves me with a bit of a dilemma; I also have a pair of unused Horizons that would plainly be the best of the 3 on the road, which means the Byways are probably now a bit extraneous so I’m wondering if I should just sell them, or do I accept that 700x28c would be even better on the road and get rid of the Byways AND the Horizons?

Scotroutes You need the gravelkings I’m selling above and I’ll throw in the used terrene elwood’s!!!

New Garmin to roam user here. Battery life is much better but the not being able to reroute and having to load routes from phone while on the move is a pain if I’m honest.

Yea the brain on the rear suspension seems it needs specialised servicing I believe.
Think I’ll give TF Tuned a call.

Years ago when I was a lot younger i hurt my coccyx when I jumped into a pool and smashed it of the bottom.
It was very painful at the time but went away and never effected me. Forward 30 years on and after losing a bit of weight it really started to affect me when doing any sit ups etc to the point where it would bleed.
Went to the doctor and they recommended having the bone shaved. After much thought and discussing the lengthy recovery with it I decided not to go ahead with the op. Now as long as I’m not Sat on a hard floor or doing sit ups etc it has been ok so you have my sympathies with it. Hopefully in time it will feel normal again.

Can’t answer your question as have never used a thunderburt but have a brand new 29 x 2.1 in box that I bought for my gravel bike and never used so drop me a message if it’s of any interest.
Also done most of the badger divide on slick 47mm tyres so thunderburt should be well capable. The roughest bit is on great Glen way and decent of corriarick pass.

You will probably regret the broadband change. Anything that comes through a bt phone line is weak compared to virgin.
I’ve just left virgin for sky. The tv package and set up is much better but the broadband is a downgrade.

What size longitude is it? I could be interested in a frame or full bike.
Currently got a rigid medium stache for sale.
