Don’t get me started on vets. I’ve just changed ours to an independent after my vet failing us with bad blood tests and costing us a fortune for an emergency operation after offering to put the dog down because of the results. The costs are getting scary these days.

We manufactured the large white traverse net on the final course. Didn’t take them up on the free tickets to the filming. Kinda wished I had now🤔

I booked the day return this year when I went to France on the motorbike as it was cheaper and never used the return. But I did end up coming back by ferry from Santander so can’t comment if they pull u up on the return. I used one of those use once only virtual bank cards from Revolute to pay incase they tried to charge extra.

People run it in less than a day.

The first bit from FT Bil til Ft Augustas is fairly flat canal type path. After that is gets more challenging so if your fairly fit it shouldn’t be a problem.

I can’t help with any of the questions about chargers but I can recommend a good guy to get a quote or answer questions you have.

    Give Aidan a shout

<p style=”text-align: right;”>Both routes from Bridge of Balgie are great. You have rolling glen all the way to Pubil then the climb over then a nice glen ride back into Killin. There will be less traffic this way and there are a few pot holes and a gate on the decent. The other route has a really nice climb and fast decent then a short bit on main road. Remember and take cash for the tea room at Bridge of Balgie as they have no signal for the card machine.</p>

I used to be a big arai fan. I bought a scorpion last year and think it’s great. They are a french manufacturer who seem to offer good features a Nd very good safety tests at a reasonable price. I’m now looking for a new adventure type with peak and the scorpion version is better in most of the tests I’ve read. Good value and less noise etc.

Chewkw the awake or woke people are the ones that know what’s happening. They have been spouting this buzz word for a while on socials. Sorry you were disappointed but it might turn into a horror movie because they are saying that they are now in control of your body if you have had the vaccine. And they are experimenting with cyborgs. Honestly some of it is pretty far out.

Yea she has gone pretty far down the rabbit hole. Cancelled bank accounts. PayPal as they are globalists. The media us TV watchers see is controlled and distorted because it’s owned by a very few. I’m just hoping she is not contributing financially to help support this nonsense.

I feel your pain but yours is probably worse as it’s in person aswell. At least mine is easily controlled as she in in OZ. I’ve just deactivated it for now but it is upsetting my mother. Yes there is no debate it’s just your not awake like us and your stupid and I can’t spoon feed you more. I’m pretty open minded about things and will look at what is posted but when it’s laughable I point it out.
Feed apparently within 2 – 5 years but this seems to have increased as it was 6 months when they first started saying it.

After the abuse I put my bike through at the weekend you quickly get used to a few marks appearing. If u are using these types of bikes off-road you adapt your mindset and scrapes are just part of the adventure. Well at least that’s what I was telling myself after picking my bike up out of a river again. So much fun can be had on these bikes

I’ve had an experience where someone paid me for an item I was selling on gumtree. Funds were in my account and I was going to drop it off rather than post as was only 20 miles away. But decided to send it with dpd tracked.
Forward on a couple of days and I got a call from the bank saying my account had been frozen as they had had a report that I had received fraudulent funds. Turns out the buyer contacted his bank and said he hadn’t Recieved goods. He lied to his bank and told them it was a completely different item he had bought. I had proof of delivery with a pod. I had the add still active and I sent them all the messages to prove he was lying about what he bought. It took a few days to sort but went in my favour. If I had hand delivered it it could have been a very different outcome. So if you are posting anything in future you must use a tracked and signed service. I know they are more expensive but it’s not worth the risk not to.

Honestly don’t get me started I’ve been at him for ages to ditch the car as it’s just total laziness. It takes him longer to defrost it in the winter than it does to drive down. So if an e bike is finally going to change his mind attitude then its a start just hoping it works. I’ve looked at the ribble just concerned as some of the hub motors struggle on the 10% climb ?
    Cheers for all the replies

Depends on the class of train national and regional if I remember correctly. One of them has to be boxed the other Dosn’t. I got fined and kicked of a train going to Rome as just took my bike on without checking.

Just had 48 tonne of soil taken away in the last few weeks. My cost was 150 a trip with the grab lorry. mates rates. I did advertise the soil and someone paid for 1 grab load so that helped. I’d advertise it now on gum tree facebook market place etc and see if anyone contacts you and save some costs.

It’s all owned by British motor auctions. Webuyanycar buy the cars. They siphon off the ones they want to be sold via cinch the rest go to auction

I was always under the Impression that bank transfer was a sealed deal but had some trouble lately when I sold a computer console and the buyer tried to get his money back claiming he hadn’t Recieved it. Luckily I had it delivered by DPD and there was proof. He even claimed he had bought a different item and told them it was a golf trolley!! I had all evidence and txt messages to back up my side but they did put my account on hold while they investigated. I’m just glad I hadn’t hand delivered it like I was going to do as they were only 45 mins away. So be aware. Glws

Units are blown condensation between glass, seals don’t seem very good and the woodwork is not looking the best, They must be nearly 40 yrs old i would have thought. And as I’m getting the bedrooms redone I thought it would be a good time. Plus if I can get ones that have a better noise reduction that would be a bonus.

I’ve done it 3 times first year I kept a mate company and we bailed onto the 130, second year I put an effort in and done the 200 in 8 and a bit hours. 3rd year I was supposed to do the 200 but had a silly over the bars moment about 80km in and really hurt my hand so bailed onto the 130. This year I’m not as fit so instead of trying to go fast I’m just trying to make sure my mate does the 200 and I’ll be on a ss mtb for a different challenge. Looking forward to just plodding along.

Try and avoid the A9 from Perth To Dunkeld as It’s been heaving lately and it’s down to a single lane. Go via Braco, Crieff, Gilmerton and Amulree, much nicer roads anyway.

this is from my mate that lives on the grounds. hope it helps as I know the detour that you are on about. I have scoped out a fair few routes around that area so give me a shout if you want any.

Route of least conflict, but you will technically go through main paths and houses on the grounds. Back avenue I believe is technically a right of way, but as it is a school it is not a right to roam. Over covid and school term it has been advised no right of access, which i think is sensible enough. But we are moving away from Covid restrictions and it is now the school holidays. I’m sure certain indivisuals will ask you to stop, question you, and advise against doing it in the future. But that seems to come from a small minority of private land owners/managers.

South side has a lot more streams to cross but is slightly shorter. North side has a bigger climb at the Glen Lyon end.

Go hard from the start, pass all the fast guys then at 150km start to struggle and cramp up/bonk. fast guys come past then hang on in pain for the remainder.
Ok maybe don’t do what I did!!

Just a fyi the restaurant at corrour station is closed on Sundays just now because of the shiterail train stikes which are supposed to last until mid August.
I’m not sure about Rannoch station as it has road traffic?

Done it in a day about 3/4 years back. Its not to bad unless the last train back from Dunbar is delayed and you have to phone your mate to rescue you. And then sit on the last train out of Edinburgh with a load of pished people from the fringe festival 🙄

How about near the car park at Loch Muick. Toilets nearby. We camped there when bikepacking no hassles.
