He's started … the theme to Rocky is playing as we speak

He's not called Chef for nothing.

There have been some silly prices from 65 to 200.

    I've sold them at 105… @ £1 a nugget

I worked out 100 nuggets is roughly 1.7kgs of nuggets.

Don't think I've got much down side

I had problems trying to get maxxis advantage to seal onto mavic crossrides (ghetto… bmx inner tube method) using soap and water. I then read on here somewhere to use neat wash machine liquid… worked a treat.. Using just a track pump as well.

I argee with bungee jumping being more scary (and therefore more of a buzz). I think it's because it's up to you to jump when bungeeing (SP?) In SD the instrutor takes care of throwing the pair of you out of the plane.

It's still very very good and the classic free fall pose is strangely comforting imho.

Oh my mum skydived last year aged 65

    Do it !!

    Gibson SG Mmmmmm

Once I can play the whole of the Back in Black album to a standard I'm happy with (ie not worrying too much about the solos) I will treat myself to an SG… oh yes I will

Apart from picking a guy you dont like the look of to race against(simply based on the top he is wearing or the bike he is riding), there'll always be one. You have to race against that most unforgiving of competitors…. yourself

Get out there as soon as.

Have a look at the Mud Sweat and Gears series of races they are in your area (well they were… the next couple are in Essex)

I'm planning on being there… you'll probably not like the look of me… "came and have a go if you think you're ard enough"

    :)

Having never met an uncompetive rugby player :)

The competion of a race adds a whole new element to riding your bike.

Just do it … You'll love it

Only just getting into racing myself (only my 5th race this week) and think it is excellent fun.

The new dyson are much better to use than the old ones…. nice and light and emptying the cylinder is super easy and very clean (no escaping dust)

I know I'm now middle aged …. beacuase I prefer the wife's auto Honda CRV (soft road thing) to my Golf GTI.

    Why?

Because it's easier to get in and out of.

When i change the golf will defo get something "high"… hate sitting down "so low" now

Bring the BP story and tomorrow's world cup match together.

    By chanting at them….

    "Your not swimming
    Your not swimming
    Your not swimming anymore
    Your not swimming anymorrrrrrrre"

It will go straight over thier heads mind.

    Surf – Mat.

You think the shareholders are not very important.

You, me and every one of us will do a lot better by BP maintaining their dividend payments. Do you have a pension? How about home insurance or car insurance, maybe you have travel insurance. You may support charities…. where do you think these intuitions invest their monies?

He’s a little bit of info for you…. £1 of every £7 paid by UK companies in dividends is paid by…… BP.

Sky News have reported a cloud of dust has closed UK airports. Police have arrested the Emirates trophy cabinet cleaners in connection with the incident.

The money you put in is before tax as well.

But any profit from the share sale is liable for CGT.

I think its a great way to save, but sell my shares as soon as I get them.

As I have enough already "invested" in the company I work for because I work for them… if you catch my drift

In a fuffy green world we all ride bikes and life is good… If only it could be so.

But in the real world cars and their drivers are DEFO not changing and big horrible cars and lorries are driven by idiots… You may think I'm one off them.

Do you think that type of place is a playground?

Why use it as such ?

Sorry guys… I honestly do… and you can ridicule me all you like for thinking it's stupid… but you can not deny that it's dangerous.

Please let me make myself clear….. Roadies can hold ME up all they like. It does not up set ME.

But what other past time is sooooo reliant on others NOT actually participating in that sport

Taking risks to discover the half the world ….. is somewhat different to getting kicks with your mates on a Sunday morning riding a bike on the road… its a past time a hobby that is all… Ridiculously a dangerous one.

I'd happily let my lad ride down hill comps as would I…. him and only him would be in control of the situation. Team sports are obvious good as well, where he wouldn't be so totally in control…. but his opposition is not going to be tonne or more of metal.

Road riding chain gangs are not riding to work… and I'd read as much literature as you could send me. BUT … its not ME you have to worry about, is it?

No… but I want to make sure that I'm here to stop them.

As such, riding on the road for the sake of it,to me, is utter madness.

Choose another sport it's just far too dangerous.

Who ever is at fault for that danger, cyclist are the ones putting myself in that position.

The worry I have about road "pleasure" cycling is the same worry I have about people riding high performance motor bikes.

Both are using the public highway as a playground !!

That seems to me to be very dangerous. Especially to themselves but also to other road users who are not "playing" but trying to get from A to B.

Others don't want to be in their "game" but have no choice if they come across them or are involved in a incident with them.

Would you let your kids play on a busy road ?

    Then why are they

Feel free to add to the next verse of this classic Jam song

GT 85 and the silence of jumping
Tyres through fresh snow and disc brakes burning

    That's entertainment, that's entertainment.

There are exceptions to every rule.

Ice skating is an example of an exception to the Sport's Rule, which clearly states.

A sport is only a sport, if specialised footwear is employed.

I've not given up completely, but I have just made a effort not to drink as much. Which basically means not having a glass of wine with diner or a beer or two in front the the football. My diet has not changed in anyway other than this and the weight is falling off of me !!

    No chance !

    In fact quite the reverse.

Greece will be bailed out by the rest of euroland and that will also safe guard the rest of the PIGS.

Which means the market will be looking for another victim out side of the eurozone ! Guess who that is ?

And we haven't got nice German neighbours to bail us out.

But what we do have, is a nice independent currency that will be smacked the sh1te out of …. Get those Euros now boys

Hey Clunker…. the curry's one at £199 is the DC24 ( I think !! ) Nice and light weight but less power then the "standard" DC25!?!

That samsung one from argos is now just £60

Mine packed up last night (like the chap above) after about 9 years.
Although a good percentage of that was as a single man and therefore it didnt get used too much. The wife has been moaning about it for ages (she didn't like how heavy it was) so maybe she has sabotaged it !!

So which one to get…. The roller ball one, the pull it behind you type or, because of weight issues, the slim line one that dyson does.

Or pay up for a meile

I was looking at the 170 as well.

Does size really matter ?? I can't view that sheldon link (in work)

I mean the difference between 170 and 175 is only 1cm in total (right?)

Its taken from arguably Snowboarding's best discipline

In MTB it's kind of like a cross between downhill and "freestyle jumping" (you know freestyle jumping all those techie named spins and flips that make you wish you were 15 years young, so that you could have a go and it not hurt soooo much when you got it wrong)
