Current stem I believe is a 70mm and there looks to be plenty of clearance between the bars and top of the fork. I cant seem to find any official data telling me the stem length, just the info above, thanks otsdr

What a grim place to work.
Locally I’m guessing he’s tried siemens already?
In newark there are some big apprentice employers such as rps and derrys.
    Don’t lose hope

The new seat leon cupra with the golf r engine and more toys than you’d ever want is a good shout. You’ll get a 2 year old one for 20k. Either that or limit yourself to 3k and buy a hatch with no weight and the biggest engine you can find

At a very wet cannock today my 3.0 nobby nics performed faultlessly. I’m not that experienced but I am quicker on this bike than any I’ve had previously.

I have a beast 1 and love it. The bike feels different again going tubeless and lighter tyres.

Had mine a couple of months and not ridden my other bikes since. Make sure you get the tyre pressures right though, rides like a dog when they get a little low.

I wouldn’t get so caught up in the calorie counting – it has been proven time and time again that it is the best unit of measure available at the moment but does not consider things like nutrient density. 300cals of sugar is not the same as 300cals of meat / vegetables / nuts. I’d be really interested to see the daily macro splits My Fitness Pal is displaying.

Training wise think of your previous pre season rugby stuff. I’d look at a basic 5×5 program for a start with big movements that will increase your metabolic rate. The above is assuming you know your way around a squat or deadlift. Personally I would guess that you are under eating in regards to meat and veg, I aim for 250g of meat as a very rough rule of thumb three times per day and I do a LOT less cardio.

Does it need topping up each time the system has been hot and cools down again?

If the bladder in the expansion vessel has failed then you would top the system up to operating pressure, the heating would come one and the system would weep out excess pressure through the safety valve. Then, when it cools down the pressure would drop.

Oh and that fernox leak sealer, I had a small leak under a freshly tiled floor and fixed things a treat!

I work for a renewables manufacturer and we were half expecting the RHI to be scrapped last budget, can’t see it holding out too much longer

Yeah I’ve had some and sent them back. Rear definitely isn’t 12mm. I also got sent a 20mm front axle not a 15mm.

I had a 172 cup with a few bits under the bonnet and on kw suspension. I wouldn’t recommend it. The engine felt like it was just about to come on song when it was up nest the rev limiter. Needs another 2kk revs.

At that budget I’d look at the civic type t. Much better built, better chassis in my opinion and definitely a stronger more tuneable engine.

If it helps I’m 5’11 and I have a large Jekyll, I wouldn’t want to be any taller on it.

My workplace runs partners. Everyone of the 14 vans has broken down at least once per year. We are going for caddy’s next time around…
