Hi there skied there about 12 years ago as a complete beginner. Early Jan so was bitter cold, good snow, old slow lifts but adequate, on mountain restaurants were limited – 2 I think- but wholesome stews and bread. Restaurants were ok nothing special, booze was the same price as here but shots were 4x the size. After a few days we had done all the runs but then we just did them faster. Overall as a novice it was 7/10. Went to Andorra soldeu the year after skiing was 10 times better.

I’ve travelled around Nz, Australia, south east Asia, but we have some of the most scenic and varied countryside anywhere. Never made it out west or past Fort Bill, but these photos of our British Isles are truely magical. Makes you want to start planning a trip, pack the camper, fix the bike, load the fire pit and go….

My brother in law rides with Rotor Rings[/url] instantly he seemed to cruise up the hills. They seem pricey but the difference might be worth the £’s. I think the cervelo teams ride with them, spotted them on the tour.

A fine bottle of Single Malt and a pair of nice drinking glasses, and a rib eye steak

What a great position to be in! How about a lovely chair, ercol style, to relax and contemplate. A share in a local wood. A green oak woodwork tuition weekend. A Canadian ski week. <back to the chutney>
