provided the army aint knocking on there doors at six in the moring i cant really see it being a hassle.

i didnt mean literally, more or less saying if there out of the way of the residents why should they give a choc log.
more chance of there gas cooker going boom when they put a snack on after the pub and doze off, than the sams

i cant really see whats wrong with this, true im not living there, but if these never went ahead and there was a terroist attack wouldnt we all feel stupid.
chances of them going off are very low, the residents have more chance of being stabbed for there wallet than these exploding. plus with all the security prescene about guarding them nobody would take the risk to mug them. as soon as the olympics is over everything will be put right, not a word about em again.

put it like this you saved about £4k in lightweight bike parts. maybe most weight weenies should try this diet as well before a £2k set of wheels.

the whole sport in general is way overpriced compared to anything else out there.

Plus if he wins, every generation alive now will hear about it at every opportunity, until the next one is won.

we all know how tempermental electroincs can be in our houses and cars. im not a fan and i dont need to test it out to be swayed.
who is there market base?id say its only use is tow paths and hardpacked trails with little features. lets see a vid on fortbill.
theres so much can go wrong with this its not worth my time or money. a ccdb may be more than £500, but how often does a ccdb need batteries, or a servo to get banjaxed,or cables to fray?
it may be up some peoples street, with loads of cash. even if i had the cash i still wouldnt entertain.

ive had a little thought guys and ive decided on a 32t renthal ring with a e13 xcx guide.
was wondering what the chain slap and retention is like with just a top mount?
i had ordered the lg1 tr but it was out of stock, if the xcx does the job ill save a few quid as well.
is a clutch mech maybe prefered with just a top mount, bike is a fs as well?
    would appreciate some input, thanks.

Yep, mine’s FS with top only. Never had issues dropping the chain, don’t pedal backwards is a good start I guess. Dunno otherwise, are you inherently more likely to lose the chain on a FS?

i thought with the suspension adjusting the chain lenght as it goes through the travel would make the chain flap about more, i guess not.
i seem to prefer a guide with a bottom peice though, but as so many get away with this i may try it.

    what a pimp twohats.
do any of you running just the top use a f/s bike and if so how do u not drop chains?
alawys though i needed a bottom roller as well.

Pro2 s were my first choice, but everytime a set came up here I was always to late. Bought a set of the am4 when they appeared out of haste not realising rotors are hard to get and same for rear bearings. As the ad said bearings were good I bought them, as soon as I fitted there was play.
