i would obviously do the bead and plaster as you say.possibly if it was handy to do is get a spot or led strip in and just make it a feature for art or a plant. if your stuck for storage you could shelf it out for shoes/coats. as said above combine the two spaces from the other cupboard and use some nice light wood as shelving

pick a resort on any island you can’t go wrong.the tourism there is endless, i spent six months and only marked the surface never mind scratched. keep an eye on the weather around october , is this season change time?

i wouldn’t even look about biking personally but bali has a good scene as does philippines but way too far from hong kong. the heat and sun , humidity and mozzies, remoteness would put me off biking.

trip advisor and lonely planet are a good guide. id recommend a spa resort in cambodia , see angkor wat. do the beach tourist stuff. its cheap to do , but still very poor and 3rd worldly so be prepared for the culture shock, though if your hong kong based you know the story.

n.i. would not survive without the uk. the south can hardly keep itself as it is. i’m sure heaps would not want a united ireland,although if the option came it would be hard to pass up. saying that the benefits/dole are just as good down there as up here.

short answer no. i wouldn’t buy anything with rust. it screams to me somebody who does not give a damn about care and maintenance. it will only spread and get worse. the more you look the more you’d find.

all the people commenting that have had machines x number of years. appliances have all different internals in them now. the older ones were more robust, less electronics , easier to replace parts, less parts etc.
modern ones are made to fail , to hard to fix that its cheaper to just replace. that is there business model

go down to any big commercial/ industrial jobs in your area. or if you know a plumber/ sparkie / hvac mate. there will be heaps of rod, washers and nuts lying about.

i made one a few years ago for a dreaded press fit bb. but to be honest it can be tricky to get it square and to flush even. i wouldn’t faff about if i had to do it again to be honest.

yeah the hours thing is probably an average in lab test conditions. real world not so much. there’s a few ways to look at it like said above. buy cheap but replace sooner or buy dearer and get a bit longer. i wouldnt be to fussed cause youd save on the leccy a bit anyways.

get good coverage on bt sport.hd shots are awesome. i lost interest about 6 years or so ago. started watching last season on bt sport again. completely love it. best drivers about. i would love to see alot more drivers fighting for the top though. i dunno but back in the day there seemed to be a heap more cars and drivers?

i went on a working holiday style trip with the plan to see how it would progress. after three years it didn’t quite go anywhere, so im back over a year, and haven’t settled and am looking at where or what to do next.

plenty to do if you love outdoors. its somewhat compact so three weeks will cover nearly all. fly to auckland. go and see the active volcano island off coast taugaura. whitianga and whangamata with hot water beach and cathedral cove. head on up north for the maori treaty place. rotorua, taupo, wellington museum. then you have the south island . there’s heaps of day trips, glaciers, mountains.

i would hire a camper or do a naked bus tour thing. stay in hostels,b&b.

september is very iffy, bit chilly and wet still .oct/nov if you could wait would be better.
