one thing that does annoy me about people with I-Phones is, when some one rings them they will say my I-Phones ringing. Its a phone, you dont have to make it obvious that its an I-Phone.

My sister had the Iphone 3gs. She had it 3 months and became bored of it, she sold it on and bought a Blackberry….
I believe HTC All the way. I preffer Windows Mobile though. So customisable and easy to install apps to. Updating the rom to something slightly newer is so easy though.

any one ever had any of the Lidl Cycling Gilets? seems like a cheap windproof softshell?
I’ll probably get some of the cycling shorts and one of those gilets if they look any good when I go.

I did 8.8 miles this morning also. Plus i Discovered some new singletrack to ride!
Only difference between mine and your ride is that I wasnt knackered after, despite only being out 40 odd minutes with and average speed of 11.8 ish mph.
    Tis good to get out.

Its been sunny for 2 days here. Yes! saying that my bike never gets winter tyres.

The disco compound I use are the semi-metalic(medium?) so there bound to last less time in the wet muddy winter. Sintered should last longer though.

Disco pads bed in quick I find in most brakes, not sure on the avid ones. They last a little less time than the stock pads in Shimanos and Tektro’s though but More power and feel.

Seems like a good 50/50 preference across the board. I use to ride flats, rubbish cage ones that come standard on many bikes.

I learnt to bunny hop on them, rode them for a while. Switched to clipless and now I wont go back, I can unclip as quick as taking my foot of a flat.

I see where your coming from, but just think. I’m way better than them on people full sus’ers because I actually have to move when my bike hits a rock etc.

    Sus’ers are for lazy people.

Not my bike, that’s my mates. But yes it was broken, his rear brake is completely knackered. Bloody juicy 3’s….

Its in Temple Newsam in Leeds.

Tazzy it was muddy, really quite muddy in places we couldn’t even ride.
There was a foot of sticky thick mud in a lot of places.

Also, the reason my mates not wearing a helmet is because he’s got a Bell one that looks utterly ridiculous on a head.

there about 8 quid for a nw bb aint they? what would be the point in just buying the plastic bit?

    R.lepecha

I’ll probably do it with a bit of string and tiewraps then. Seems like a more usefull thing to do rahter than buy a joplin or gravity dropper, since what can actually happen to a peice of string apart from it breaking.

Ended up buying a Blackburn Mounatain Air. Not the mountain air 3, the reviews were better on the original one because cos it was thumb lock not twist lock.

There was also a forum on BR with some details about a test a magazine did to find out how many pumps it took to get a 2.1 tyre to 35 psi.
It was the second fastest, the first being the Topeak Mountain Morph.
