im in brum as well theres not much sutton park is closest for me its good for fitness but it gets muddy really quickly. Its only a 40 minute to drive to cannock and the riding there is excellent. Wouldnt mind going up the lickeys but dont knoww much about there. The long mynds not too far away either.

Hmm ill be running a nevegal up front with a bonty mud x at back. Anybody have a link to the arch specific rim strips i cant seem to find them anywhere? So have i wasted my money buying the stans kit at £55 because if i just use the yellow tape i now need to buy the valves 🙁

ive always fancied riding in the FOD but wouldnt have a clue where to start. I used to camp a lot in between coleford and symonds yat as a lad, is there much good riding around there would anybody be able to show me a bit?

endura singletrack or mace nos both very comfortable. Endura liners are cheap enough and very comfortable. i find fox sargeants far too thin for riding in anything other that sunshine.

snap crackle and pop was good but didnt you hate the fact that after some of the fireroad climbs that there was then lots of downhill on fireroads. I also thought the heart of darkness section was good but i just found the trail as a whole was boring and repetitive.

i have just got back from a 2 day stint in wales. My son and i did penmachno, chlimax and the trail with the horns at cyb. We ended up doing chlimax twice i really enjoyed that, penmachno was good also we did both loops, the cyb route was crap i have done the beast there but the one we did this time had far too much fireroad. Going back in a few days to do nant yr arian so looking forward too that.
