Well done Terrahawk, i spent a few laps chatting with you at Mayhem, taking the piss out of the walkers in the sticky mud. This weekend i couldn't keep up with your pace when you came past, big effort tho.
Apart from really bad dehydration untill about 11pm i really enjoyed it, note to oneself, drink less real ale next time!

Flying down the side of the track along the back of the first woods, across the dirt track just before the gravel road, middle of the night, front wheel slid. I flew the width of the track, landed on my feet on the verge and carried on into a dive forward roll, ending upsidedown in the ditch. It was a good job i had a helmet light on to find my way back out!
Thanks for all the abuse/encouragement from everyone, Postierich with the little ones tambourine he had 'borrowed' on the last grassy climb. The guys in bluebell woods near the jump on sat were also very vocal.
Finally to whoever thought it would be good to remove most of the mud from the site and replace it with putty!!!

I got some sweet flat pedals made by Crawford Carrick Anderson of
CCA-signs, the downhill dude. 50 quid in sterling silver in May 06, might be worth an email to see if he's still making stuff with metal as he has gone more sign based, used to be CCA-designs.

Same on my Stylo ss cranks, self extracting, as you undo the smaller one it pushes the inside of the larger and your arm falls off…crank arm that is!

We have one of the tent style ones from mothercare, Lil RT has been fine in it-now 2yrs-and it packs smaller than a 1 man tent.

I heard due to the crunch that they didn’t bring all the spares they used to, instead they were just fixing with parts you bought from the stalls, after their stuffs gone up in price by about 50%, tight wads

Nice one Matt, It’s good to see all the effort paying off, some people think you are given bikes and just have to ride round and look pretty,
How many sets of kit do you have or do you float over puddles!
I managed 17 laps and walked once up the Kenda-although i used the granny-once was enough though, it was a lot harder than spinning!
Congrats on the engagement, i don’t think there was many there without a tear in their eye.
I sat lil RT on the top tube and pushed her over the line to Pat-you’ve got to get them started early!!
    See you at Sleepless.
