If you return as as not described the seller has no option but to accept the return, possibly even have to pay for postage. There doesn’t seem to be any way to dispute the process as a seller.

Kind of need your budget but in good old tradition of recommending what you own, Forerunner 965, makes the naps look pretty. I tend to use it to generate a route if Im away somewhere I don’t know too well.

As a cheaper option if you aren’t tied into the Garmin ecosystem the Corus watches do similar for less money.

On the pixel there should be a pop up when you connect to a WiFi network that warns there is no internet and allows you to accept that. If that isn’t happening I could see the phone returning to another network. This sounds familiar from trying to setup various devices that use WiFi where some are a pain.
On the argument it’s a newish phone it should just work the DJI apps don’t run on pixel 7, internet chatroom theory is there is some incompatibility with the tensor processor.

The only time I’ve used express is to update the maps or when theres been a firmware update that breaks the connection to the app.

Think you should be alright but you could always run a linux instal in a virtaul machine (this can be a world of hurt getting it to work with USBs but much cheaper than buying a new machine)

What you need to be searching for is light pipe, on a quick search the longest I could find is 66cm.

Aren’t you better off paying by credit card directly if its high enough value? As you are paying via PayPal you are relying on them for any protection?

Depending if you are building up a frame or buying complete but the shimano 105 spec from Cotic uses a GRX cranks and front derailier as Slackboy said, 105 shifters and rear mech though.

Might be sacrilidge but recently came across another option for British made trousers and coats, https://communityclothing.co.uk/pages/about-us with a similar ethos.

Not bought anything from them yet and i doubt I’ll need to for a while unless i grow out of my Hebcotro trousers again.

It’s odd, the cassette is much cheaper than last week but the derailleur and pro shifter have gone up.

In the same way that DC rainmaker is the goto for Garmin and other cycling tech ive found this guy, Peter Pee, on youtube to be quite informative https://youtu.be/0kU__bh48Hw for sonos stuff and settings.

Also keep an eye on Sonos refund site https://www.sonos.com/en-gb/shop/certified-refurbished

i have a couple of ones from it and they were basically new. The beam gen 1 is on there for £239 at the moment.

Not seen it suggested but a burley travoy

depending on the shape and amount of kit it might be handy as it can also be used as a hand cart.

I’ve started keeping my helmets indoors for that reason.

I also get some mould on my saddle but only my leather brooks ones not the other standard plastic ones.

keeping in the box with the silica pads is a good idea, I do 3d printing and that’s a standard way to keep the filament in good condition. I got some from Amazon that change colour when they get too saturated and can be regenerated in the microwave.

What about parking at Stratford, it’s much cheaper, https://stratfordintl.co.uk/parking, £44 a week.
not sure about getting into St Pancras, if the high speed from kent is running its easy but if a strike day then bus or tube.

But Russian hasn’t swamped Ukraine with it’s on paper much greater air power, not sure why but there was probably enough early losses from relatively cheap ground to air defences to make it unsustainable.

The other thing to check is the flue/vent iced up, a mate was without heating for a couple of days and it turns out that the flue is also the intake for fresh air and that has become blocked. £80 to a heating engineer and a quick wiggle with a screwdriver and it was working again.

The only time it would be useful, I think, is navigating maps. The cycling through zoom, move, move the otherway is just clunky.

So it’s a no from me.

There is speculation that 540/840 might be due out soon just based on the time it’s been since the x30 came out.

As an extra PSA if you only have your phone the post office have an app, easyID,  that you can add verified copies of your passport and license to. Not sure if anyone would formally recognise it though.

I have in the past used my railcard app as photo ID.

I have an instapot and use the saute function to start onions and such. You just have to make sure that there isn’t anything stuck to the bottom of the pan or the burn protection kicks in and it doesn’t actually get to pressure for the time and it’s a bit easy to miss.

Oddly I was looking up some recipes today to use up some lentils and kidney beans I’d found in the cupboard.

Just used Paisley freight freight for the first time and apart from the APC driver being a bit surprised by the size of the box it seemed to work ok.

Collected on Tuesday and delivered on Sunday, not sure what it was doing between Wednesday morning and Saturday morning though.

I had always used Parcel Force before as I could drop off at the depot. I did try this time but wouldn’t accept the booking as you found.

TNT and FedEx ship bikes but not sure if an individual can use that service. Have you tried something like Parcel Monkey that searches through providers, not sure if even that will let you select a big enough box.

Sam1988, it’s worth giving them a ring to sort out the return and to make sure you aren’t charged for the months rental after trying to get them back. I had the same issue early in the year and I got the impression the person answering the phones was getting really annoyed with the despatch person.

And don’t start me on Rochelle Gilmore as the expert summariser; can’t the BBC find any MTB experts?

apparently the BBC haven’t used their own commentators but are just using the world feed, Ned Boulting has been commenting on other sports for the world feed as well. He seemed quite surprised as to why the BBC was using him on his podcast.

Just recovered from it, as far as I can make out doing a road trip to Scotland caused it.

went for a few physio sessions and it did seem to help, the main exercise I was given was to hold a 1kg weight, arm outstretched and slowly drop your wrist and raise it. Working up to 80 reps.

Apparently the studies for that sort of exercise for treating Achilles tendons.

The letter I had from gave the name of the new provider and I think it was moving from HSBC to Newday (or another less recognised name that I associate with slightly dodgy credit available at time of purchase like Klarna or Black Horse).

not had an email about any further changes or updates though.

    found their press release https://www.johnlewispartnership.co.uk/media/press/y2022/jl-finance-to-relaunch-partnership-rewards-credit-card.html

One thing to watch out for is not all USB-C ports are the same, my Huawei will only charge using the left port but only output the display on the right port.

Also I think it might be similar on some monitors, the USB-C for the display isn’t one that can deliver that much power, I think that’s what my Dell manual said. It has another “downstream” port that can be used to charge.

Just checked and my monitor can deliver power out of the display port it’s the secondary port that’s limited

The only other thing to add is that the hive app only lets you set individual vales, for some reason you can’t group them in rooms or floors. So in the room that has three valves you have to setup all three to be the same temp and the same schedules. You can set up scenes to set multiple values at the same but that’s only to set a temp for a time.

Yes, it might be a bit slower to charge but will still work.

No clearance issues with the GRX crankset but also needed the GRX derailleur as the 105 I had would quite shift far enough over to be reliable.

Sofology and Sofa Workshop are part of the same group as DFS.
no complaints about DFS, they are sending out someone to repair our 6 year old sofa that is still in guaranty. That might change if they can’t fix it.

I think I’ve had similar, I think it’s related to the firmware updating and wiping the status

So training effect is working fine with on watch workouts, edge  and zwift. Suddenly loses it till I’ve done 2 hours of heart rate or outdoor GPS runs with the fenix to start it tracking again. Then it’s happy, it’s happened twice now.

Break out the pitchforks, a quick Google search to try and find more details actually found a previous case from October 2018 where she got a total of 12 points.

If your budget stretches to it the GoPro max is an option, gets you 360 video but the battery only lasts about 90 minutes so you have to be careful to turn it on when you need it if on a long ride. Also you need to have enough space on the SDcard so you have to keep deleting it. Have a look at videos that Jermey Vine posts and it gives good coverage.

The fly 12 is good as the battery lasts 5-6 hours and overwrites over the oldest files so is pretty much fit and forgot, apart from charging.

I kind of decided I needed the 360 after someone basically failed to see me on a roundabout, my fly12 did not pick up anything useful as it was largely to my side.

There is an official GoPro refurb  account on ebay, I just got a max from them for a bit less than retail. No hero 8 or 9s listed at the moment though.

I justify the subscription for the unlimited cloud storage and replacement insurance and the cost for a year is about the difference between GoPro direct and amazon.

If you sign up for the mailing list where they do bundles so you get a battery and case included for the normal price.

I’ve had both and neither are particularly worth it. The air zound started leaking air so you never had pressure when you needed it. The hornit would go off all by itself in the the middle of the night, it wasn’t  sufficiently weather proof so the switch shorted out.

Bell and voice are better for pedestrians, car drivers are just confused by the weird noise so you just end up having to give them verbal as well before they drive into you.

I hadn’t realised that the BBC was using the same  feed with the same commentary as Eurosport.
