In my defense, I still think the rooster is a going to be grand but I have reached s-1 and I love my puffin too much to move it on.
If anyone is interested in a wheel set give me a shout.

Legit and quick on the bike.

I thought in general as you go wider you need to shorten your stem to maintain the same “position”?
Are your existing ones really 30mm diameter or 31.6mm?

I have a large on the kickstarter deal that I won’t be building up if MidlandTrailquestsGraham or Rik want to give me a shout.

I had an email update from Sam about a month ago that he would be in touch shortly for payment but nothing more.

Pah no local stock, though I did just find an unused one in the shed that I got for £30 a few years ago. Probably don’t need it.

The xfusion manual suggest using some grip paste non slip stuff to stop the rotation but it does seem to stick the plates into the body a bit. Make sure both sides are free, saddles a bit uncomfortable when they get twisted

Going back to the originating question, the flash pattern isn’t the Hope district, either slow or fast flash. Could it have been a learner zecto?

I like that one, is that available or is a homebrew standard mudguard split down the middle with a new piece bolted in?

Im interested in the wireless alarm and phone ringer now. Was that an off the shelf kit?

I think I read somewhere that the nexus 5 was going to be the last Google produced phone but they did own Motorola at that point.
There are different versions of the moto g, the latest has 4g and a SD card slot. Very good phone for the price.
I personally went for a moto E as my run/ride phone. I’ve been very impressed with it but the camera may not be good enough for your original request. It runs everything I’ve tried on it just as well as my note 2.

the new Axis is meant to be less floody than the mk1 so may be the ideal compromise.

if you can stretch to the latest version they get a bit of a boost. the joystick is now 700 lumens or the axis is 850 lumens.

GO outdoors had some Rab stuff on special offer even cheaper. Latok jacket for £115 but only in one colour.

If the batteries were a named brand it might be worth an email. Duracell or every ready used to have a guarentee that their batteries would never lack so would refund any damage. No idea what evidence you’d have to provide and whether it was just a gimmick.

Oh, nice colour too. All truly nice bikes should have some orange on them.

Have you invested in all the armour/pads so you can look totally rad coming down leith hill? :-)

Was the insurance payout for you or the cat?

Or there is the axis (£120 at Rutland), somewhere between a joystick and diablo?

They normally have stickers at the post office. I would also argue that the glowworm batteries are devices inthemselves as they have LEDs on them.

Two of the last bikes I was going to sell to fund the next (ok already made) purchase have ended up as hers. Does mean were getting a bigger shed though :-)

There is standard fat bike rear dropout of 170mm or there is 190mm for I think the ones that run 5″ tyres rather than 4″, like the surly ice cream truck. .
    explanation of 170mm hub
One think you’ll need is a longer quick release if you don’t get them with the wheelset

Halfords can be good too, they seem to price match aggressively on their website. then if you are a British cycling member you can get an extra 10% off that price too. Not sure if they’ll match handtech though.

have you seen this blog post on sub £500 build.
It worth keeping an eye on on-one ebay account, they have had cheep wheelsets and cranks on there recently.

I bought a gemini lights helment mount, basically a tube of plastic, so you can use the bar mount.

If you think the Rolhoff kit is expensive have a look at the shimano equivalent. An rrp of £45 for the syringe in a plastic tub, no oil.

Moto E is good too, I think I paid about £70 for it. Just been updated to Android 4.4.4 over the air.
Not as much internal storage but does take microsd plus claims to be splash resistant.

    I’ve found American/British brands a bit less embarrassing/more generous as I don’t need to try 5XL. :-)
My endura merino top is fairly flattering, the material helps as it “flows” rather than “clings”.
I was going to go for either morvelo or fatladattheback for my next purchase.

I went for these M4, 8mm though the 6mm would probably be better as the protrude a bit further than the originals.
