I’ve been looking for one of those, mine has a cracked headtube, What colour is it ?

I really like mine so would be happy to pay more than most, But from a cash converter type place I would only want to pay £60ish… Although I am sure they will want more like £90

The Spesh Tricross works for me, I do about 15 miles each way, I run a SS.

Loads of rack mounts etc, Mine was £420

I ride mostly down a tow path which is pretty bad in places, its held up to everything so far….

You might want to speak to HR and get confirmation of how official it is already.

I had the same once when I found one of the directors had been visiting some very strange sites(Grannies and Dwarfs, I kid you not !!)

The MD insisted I forgot what I saw !!! So I documented everything and sent it all to him special delivery and kept a copy for my records, all very dodgy.

Find that email sent to IT and keep a copy, could be handy.

    Who is investigating ?
I would be very careful but they should/will be able to prove if it was you….or not.

Did they say you had been browsing to those sites or downloading ? or been emailing them ?

Do get the advice sooner rather than later though, once she moved its all pretty academic.

I work for a council and got two tickets when I parked in our own car park but forgot to show my pass, even though the Car Parks Dept know my car and reg and knew it was mine, I still had to pay so show that we are no different than Joe Public…

But if they are some form for “service” vehicle they are likely to be excused..

It is all too common, terrible state of affairs leaving some good fathers heartbroken and very bitter…… And children with no Dad or very occasional contact.

You can always apply for custody etc but its not a very simply process and its not going to be granted only because you would have to travel.
The other reasons you say your Son would rather live you with would be what you should consider as a reason to try though. But her not being a very happy person to live with is not a reason to say he should live with you.

Its not going to be easy or quick if possible at all, As uplink says, get legal advise.

    Good luck !

I’m 15 stone and cracked my Marin’s headtube, only noticed it when cleaning it after a day in the Black Mountains…. :|

I used to work there, not a good place at all……

An email is OK to let them know but I think most places will always want it in writing as a follow up, but they should take the email as formal notice though.

Heathy, I have done so before with no problems but they did want a hard copy after the event.

Could I be so cheeky as to ask, Is it a company which might sound like “tiny” or “small” then “to prepare a fish”

(if that does not make any sense I presume its not them)

I was told of for rolling along a platform at the station with one foot on the pedal (you know what I mean)

He treated me like a small child trying to make me stop and listen to his rant…

The platform was empty and I thought the chap was a cock so ignored him, he ended up chasing me down the platform but could not keep up :-)

I commute about the same every day on my Tricross SS. As others say, not good when its windy but apart from that is fine (and I fly when I take my geared bikes out)

We have had loads of problems with the little buggers. Had a pest guy some round who got rid using poison but they did come back.

I found the only way to really get rid is to make sure they cannot find any food, we now put everything in tupperware boxes. That made a dramatic affect on the nunber of times we found droppings etc.

I even put a shelf up in the kitchen which was about 10 inches from the ceiling to keep cereals etc, the buggers even managed to get up there, the only way they could have is by somehow climbing up 8 foot of smooth wall !!!

As Nostoc said, you need to make sure they cant get in, lots of chicken wire under the eaves or in any holes in walls etc.

One time we borrowed a local farms “ratter”. The spaniel spent an hour in our garden and must have killed at least a dozen mice !

Its generally because of a fear that you are probably looking for something more senior in the long run, and would only end up leaving once you get the job you really want.

Do you think the two forums have different types of Users in some way ? Ie Middle management on STW, something else on BM ?

I had one interview where the other chap also rode, 90% of the conversation was about bikes, and they offered me the job, too easy…

Good luck and remember, you are interviewing them as much they are you.. Makes it easier when thinking that.

I would not think its good if you asked me in an interview, I would say its cocky or maybe even arrogant.

Just last weekend I swapped the bars/stem/seat post for carbon Easton kit, now running flat bars with bar ends. And binned the granny ring.

As others say, nice and light, very fast.

What Jojo said, My work demands the highest levels of CRB and Police checks and I was just asked to explain my little visit to court which resulted in a fine…….
They were OK about it, maybe its because I did not inhale ;o)

Thats why I dont often do anything, its very likely you will cross each others paths and I dont want to give a bad driver even more reason to be a risk to me…
That said I would love to rip their heads off and mount the head on my bars as a sign to all other drives that I am not to be messed with…
