Biggest problem I find is people send the cash for front lights, or head lamps, but always run the dullest rear light.

Get a decent rear light and have it turned on all the time.

    Nice one, enjoy..

first time out on my road bike I just ran flats to get a feel for the bike first… Maybe something to think about unless your used to them.

From 2.50 it Looks like up near Kebs road, long causeway as you can see stoodly pike on the other valley, also from 2 mins if the video flows he’s climbing out of hebden to Blackshaw head..

Therefore the woods in question at a guess at down in the valley between todd and hebeden… maybe dean woods

Shimano 105 are a good budget choice, I run them on mine with a pair of Shimano carbon soled shoes.

The pedals are weighted so they are always in the position ready to clip in.

Also you can adjust the tension so easy for a beginner . Not the lightest of pedals but who cares…

Think I have got it pretty much spot on now…

Time to focus on the front end now.. :-). But think I have got them pretty close to how I want them, just need to tweak the rebound.

Any one else running Fox Racing Shox 32 Float 140 FIT CTD Fork w/Trail Adjust ?? How do you fine them ?

@crikey — got the gear but also got an idea……. 🙂

Cheers – I know how to set it up as per the manual and general feel… but as you all know the shock can react different depending on what frame its on..

You can feel the difference in climb mode compared to soft or trail, but the sag did appear equal in climb and trail.. its more about what sort of sag should you expect in climb v trail v soft which is the question really..

I have just added another 20 psi and seem to be getting there now.

    Thanks for the link too.

    Cheers

I have my Reverb set up perfect for the climbs.. drop it an inch for trails and down to the bottom for descents.

Gone are the days of dropping the seat post at the top and out of the saddle on the climb the other side.
