Right then… just as an update…. let out all the air in both chambers…

went to 88 psi in +ve and 80 -ve, was too soft…

Back up to 105 in +ve and 100 -ve, with about 2/3 rebound, and they're spot on – proper plush over big stuff, and sock up the small bumps nicely without lots of sag.

Interesting that the settings are almost identical to what they were before emptying the chambers

    Cheers Jimmers,

    That'll be 88+ and 80'ish- for me!

I'll give it a go at that kind of volume and see how it stands.

Bizarre thing is that i did spend a while when i first installed them setting them up, but they've never felt the same as the first ride… felt much plusher than my F100's

I'll give it a go, I've heard of people running at between 60-70psi.. which sounds a ridiculous amount.

Should also say well done to my girlfriend's team mate in the pairs, winning with 22 laps – 11 laps each! stonking for the little ladies.

Should say Congratulations to my girlfriend… only been riding since March and won the female pairs category :) Bon effort indeed.

I did a similar thing of sitting around drinking beer, washing the odd bike and fixing the random mechanical…. tough life really.

Yep… they can be a pain. The pads have a L and an R on the back of them, make sure they are the right way round.. make sure you have the pad seperator between them the right way round…. also check your clip at the back of the caliper is in straight…

put them in together with a pair of needlenose pliers, and push them in. stick your wheel back on, and give your levers a good squeeze a fair few times

Are the pistons sitting flush against the caliper housing… i.e. you cant see any piston sticking out?

How exactly aren't they sitting properly?
