On the guitar front if you can stretch to it I would recommend the Squier classic vibes.

Ive got the 50’s Tele and it play like a guitar twice the price.

We had them in the wall cavity. In our case they got in via a disused soil pipe in the extension, got underneath the house, up into the wall cavity and then into the upstairs floor where they made a nest.

A delightful welcome to our new house eh.

We blocked the soil pipe off trapping them in so it/they died somewhere. Luckily we didn’t get any smell from it.

Are they doing Factory Raw this year?

Recently got the Nukeproof Critical Enduro Vest when CRC had them for £40.

It is very similar, if not the same as the Troy Lee equivalent.

Lightweight and seems like fairly good protection for the money.

Maybe i need to get some foundation knowledge and qualifications, try and get my foot in the door and be a ‘CAD Monkey’ for a time to know where i want to head.

Also my job is with a large retailer so its possible i could get some experience in the Property Dept CAD team here . . . .

So the obvious thing i’ve missed is i could know AutoCAD like the back of my hand but its useless with no qualifications/knowledge/experience in the industry im using it in.

I was there today, really enjoyed it and a great venue.

I went for a medium at 5’10” & fairly slim build.

I personally didn’t think the honeycomb type protection would of done anything and the parts where it was positioned didn’t cover enough of the body.

I agree, if the 661 Sub had a back protector . . . .

Bought the Exo jacket but sent it back. I know its not supposed to be full on armour but couldn’t see it providing any protection and it didn’t fit well.

Ride with long sleeve 661 Sub gear which provides more protection and was fifty quid cheaper.

Google ‘S Trainer’, I went for one recently as it was cheaper than a TRX but looked decent quality.

It seems pretty good.

I have the same bike and swapped out the forks to some floats with 15QR, a burlier wheelset (Mavic XM319 on Superstar Evo Hubs) and would also like to get rid of the Elixir’s if thats any use to you.

I have the 2011 Crush and really like it.

stuck a burlier wheel set on with some high rollers, wider bars and have gone double and bash and its great for most of the riding i do.

personally I dont really notice it being any harsher a ride compared to some steel frames ive ridden but i am by no means an expert.

at 5’10 the 17″ fits me perfectly.

I’m 5’10 33″ leg and my 17″ fits me perfectly.

Oh year dont get me wrong, great for XC/trail centres etc i think i just meant with the full build you get a fairly cheap wheel set etc. which obviously isnt an issue if just buying the frame.

I have the 2011 model and love it. Lots of fun on the downs and climbs pretty well. not the most hardcore of long travel hardtails but perfect for the type of riding i do.

Having said that you can get the new BFE frame for £329!

i dont know how anyone copes without them at gigs.
