I’ve always though it would be interesting to go and do a photography degree, to learn the theory behind it all.

My advice would be if you are any good just go out and do it. If you can get together a good portfolio of pictures you should find work.

A number of folk I’ve come across who put BSc of photography after their name may know the theory and all that but are rubbish when it comes to creative photography.

Just about at the end of them now.

I gave up on it a long time ago. A game with potential, but there’s much better out there.

It didn’t strike me as that unreasonable. They were merely trying to ascertain that the breakage was due to a manufacturing fault, and not to misuse. I suppose they could have had a faster turnaround though.

I had to wait for 4 weeks before I got my Commencal sorted. The LBS said they could do nothing until the distributor had said it was a manufacturing fault.

Chamonix is my fave non biking summer destination.

whereas my Sigma 10-20 is a bit soft.

Just to emphasise the Sigma quality variability: my 10-20 is nice and sharp.

Whereas mine was soft.

Canon / Nikon can’t go wrong with even their basics dslr cameras.

Make sure the lens has a macro capability if she’s going to shoot stuff in the garden.

I’m guessing that if they knew the cyclist had drunk 4 cans of cider, then they would have known the same about the driver if he’d done likewise.

They probably would not be drunk, or leave the scene, or lie about it when questioned for a whole month, or do it on an open public road though.

Anyway as can be seen on this thread. It’s something plenty of us have done and lived to tell the tale. The witness says they were “whooping with shouts of excitement” ie having a laugh. It was an accident,the circumstances of which he lied about.

No experience, but my advice would be speak both from the off.

Seems a harsh sentence to me.

The bike rider was consenting to be towed.

Would a team car driver in the TDF or other bike race receive similar treatment. I think not.

Not saying they are the cheapest but good quality for sure
