He’s a cock yes! But in the grand scheme of things did he really do anything hugely detrimental other than being a yank ****?

I’ve wondered about doing it on a CX bike. 😉

    Win some lose some.

It appears that you have lost though.

In principal I have nothing against motorised transport using Chapel Gate or the Roych. My experience though is that both motorised 2+4 wheels trash the trails.

    Goodbye.

I have been on the sick for a week, so I reckon sat doing nowt through the day means I aint tired at night.

I agree, been off the bike for a week because of an injury. There seems to be an energy excess even though the rest of me says sleep.

I always quite fancied a Cannondale, but was put off by the price and their reputation for cracking.

I bought this 2002 f600 in excellent condition a couple of weeks ago for £112 though.

I looked at those Dutch hooped army ones, nothing a matter with them except they weigh ~700gms more than the Cocoon ones.

Oh and reading around the eVent fabric seems to score the highest for breathability.

Check the classifieds. Someone was selling just a DX light the other day.

If it melted the led, it’s probably a fault with the protection circuit.

Buy another (or a much more expensive light that’ll never go wrong 😉 ) pick your manufacturer then google for woes. You won’t be disappointed .

    No major regrets.

I should have ignored my mother who said 30 years ago that I shouldn’t buy a house cash (there’ll be time for that) with 9K I’d inherited. Zoopla tells me it was last sold for 186K.

Instead I spent the money on beer.

Having said that if I’d bought that it would have been unlikely I’d be where I am now. Wife kids and a 90K mortgage. 😉

Get a laptop. Use that in the living room. Say “yes dear” when she stops speaking. Put your etymotic earphones in and amuse yourself as you see fit. Though no hand action especially if there are kids in the room.

    Works for me.

Having owned an 8 speed and tried the 11 irrespective of the weight factor, I wouldn’t bother.

I can’t be bothered looking up the range, but you can now get 40-11 cassettes which surely on a single ring will give all the range needed.

Does no one use a Carradice SQR Tour

I’ve got one, it’s super stable but the drawback is it’s heavy.

3 1/2 hours running two of these on low/med for 2 1/2 hrs then full gas for an hour.

Another static 1/2 hour at home today.

Break it down to g of CHO/hour. It’s easier to figure out. This is also the limiter to what you can ingest at a GI level.

    Thanks Greg.

If you can drop the front mech lower on the seat tube you should be able to run a mtb chainset, else the chain will catch on the cage in the inner ring.

    richpips

Nick 33 is the smallest you can fit on that chainset (made by TA iirc), though obviously you’ll be able to swap for something smaller on the big ring no problem.

Left hand on lid, right on jar, make noises then pass to youngest child after saying “no sorry can’t do it”

NB sometimes requires boiling water which somewhat takes away the magician thing.

NNB Child doesn’t require boiling water.

NNNB Child will need boiling water after for making tea.
