I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I fell the looks, not design. The total lack of any instructions didn't help either. I can't offer any advise, apart from don't buy them again. Next set I get will be Tektro.

As above, daft idea, plus totally wrong because it's using feet, not metres.

Wife and I are lucky enough to own a bit of wood which keeps us in logs. It wasn't managed for years so lots of dead blown timber that is keeping me busy clearing up. Hard work but lots of chainsaw action. Hopefully start planting next year, just need to live another 100 years to see the result!

Sorry to hi-jack this a bit, but are you using a kit? If so which ones are good? I'm looking at getting into home brew, both cider and bitter.

We had a Stovax fitted last year and I'm pretty sure (but may be wrong) that it has to be done by an approved installer, or get it signed off. Not sure what happens if you don't!

Maybe you should take all your tyres with you next time and try and ride the same route, in the same conditions with different tyres. Unless you do that you'll always be thinking that 'X' would have been better, with no prove either way. Even swapping tyres on the same ride may not work, there are so many varibles (pressure, speed, line, that bit a twig you went over the first time).

Why don't people understand Top Gear is an enterainment program? Hence the bits like the airship. Also the scripted jokes. If you want a review of a Ford Focus LX buy a copy of "What Boring Car Monthly" and switch off when Top Gear starts.

Joint account, plus paid an allowance into two individual accounts for personal stuff (me: bikes). Seems the simplest way.

When I was young and single I had an 8 valve Integrale for about a year. Greatest car ever. Still look amazing. Every few weeks I look on ebay at them and get an itchy finger. Not the quickest car around now but still the only car I really want.

I tend to agree with The Times. What is it with people nowadays that they need non stop music pumped into their brains?

Any excuse to post this again. But yes, it's always going to help, but they don't need to be young.

I've been using a cheap SRAM for the last 3 years, no breaks. Do you use powerlinks or take a rivot out to remove the chain?

Yes, I had a chat to one of the doggy marshals, no problems with riding the fire road, I just didn't want to get in the way, plus it's big enough for all of us. Husky's will be there Sunday as well.

Well I've just got back from a ride around the WS2 course (or at least the forest off Fire Road 24) and the coditions are pretty good. Slight problem was the husky racing going on so I had to keep off some of the fire roads. There's some great sections of single track which is pretty well unused. Looking forward to the race.
Agree with stumpy01, always well run and great fun.

Sounds like a plan; sacked for attending an interview, do them for unfair dismissal.

I don't get why you don't just book a day's holiday. You don't have to explain why.
