Been using them for a couple of years and I think they are good value for money, I had no budget for winter boots either and these did the trick…almost. Downsides, 2 spring to mind, it may seem obvious, but they are not meant for walking in, so if you jump off to walk a hill on hard ground particularly, the stitching will suffer underneath, second, as there are gaps for heels and cleats they were COLD when putting your foot down in snow, probably the cleat conducting cold though. That said, buy a pair, I’ll buy another pair when these finally fall apart.

I’ve done the Get Mountain Biking one and intend doing another, you can even use your Tesco Clubcard vouchers 4x the value.

…plus i won the tagalong race

You only won it because my daughter refused to pedal as we had gone "far too fast" in our qualifying heat!!!! I'll sort her out before next year!! Could someone email the results to me also if you get a minute. Cheers

I contacted the camp site to see if they were aware of any localy and they couldn't help, I do remember that I found that there is one about a mile or 2 away although can't remember what it was called. I'm boarding ours at home rather than bring her down in the car

Always seem to have this with my Juicy 3's, often have to remove and reseat the wheel trying to find a 'sweet spot' It seems to be the top of thr rotor rather than the sides that makes the contact in one spot, have tried adjusting brakes and had the LBS do it also but it still comes back, none of this is of any help to you, but at least you're not alone

Phone the Ritz ? 4pm gets my vote although having worked in 5 star hotels in central London for years you will find it served from a lot earlier than that

I always weep when I hear the words angle grinder and repointing mentioned in the same sentence. ]

So did my neighbours when they saw the state of thier car

you can but dry mix but why pay those prices, its not difficult to put a few shovels of sand in a wheelbarrow then a shovel of cement then a few shovels of sand…. I would however spray with weedkiller first of all (the ground not the dry mix!!) If you are sure that its going to stay as a path and not be planted again in the next few years then buy the strongest you can get, one that lasts 5 years, even with your anti-weed material they will still come through, maybe not this year, but they will

I did my end wall, well half of it, last year and once you get the hang of it its not that difficult. Builder who did my extention didn't want the job said it was a PITA and not worth it as did the other bricky who did my patio base. Borrowed his pointing gun and after taking out the old stuff with a screwdriver for loose bits and small angle grinder and diamond disc for the rest away I went. Had to redo the first couple of rows as I wasn't happy with it but it looks fine now. As above, tutotials on the net are quite informative.
