also I was told that rockshox forks dont really work with 650b .

thats not a problem mate its def worth trying before buying ! I think it has more grip in the corners and up hill . Also you feel slightly in the bike more which is a good thing 🙂 I will pop over in the week if you fancy trying them

my forks are are 2008 forks but I changed the lowers last month to 15 mm bolt and I can safely say that on fox forks there is plenty of room for mud clearance with a racing ralph 2.25

My lbs done it for me they said they changed all the bearings on a rear hope pro 2 wheel

how can you install a shim the wrong way ? I bought a use plastic one with the slot facing the slot of the frame ?

I agree the bolton jon as Its my local stomping ground and the grit will kill of any brake pads ! swinley is what you make of it really, ride it fast and you will be using your brakes 🙂

I went in my LBS this weekend and it was all 29ers …I was told that 26er will be phased out in time , I would buy a 29er but the conversion is too expensive at the moment ! mind you they would say that to get me to buy another bike ! the cheapest way I can see is an on one frame and fork !!!
