TT systems which have a rcd covering the whole system were only 100 ma not 30ma rcds

oh and I wouldnt have one rcd covering the whole installation and you get nuisance tripping which is a pain in the arse !

i’m an electrician and for extra safety a 30 Ma RCD would be better but you cant fail it as it meets old regs ! you can fail it just because its not to the latest regs .

cheers guys ! I do like responsive handling and I used to own a cotic soul with 120mm fork with 60mm stem so this set up should be fine on a 29er ! basically I have turned it into a short travel trail bike which is what I want for my local rides 🙂

thats what I thought about my road bike , with rim brakes the back wheel would skid so whats the point of disc ?

    richieokeefe1

@iainc , yes I remember now 🙂 I have swapped from a small soul to a medium and the difference is huge ! the medium has a longer top tube and I can fit a short stem which has improved handling too . My velvets had to go back for warranty as I was only getting half travel ! The soul is a fantastic bike for raging round the woods !

@ iainc , they are rock shox recon gold rl which I bought off merlin in the sale , they are quite good but get out of shape on really rocky stuff like the peaks. I do have a set of x fusion velvets to go on soon . They are 120mm in travel 🙂

I think they are great , they give you good confidence on the down hills since get are 2.25 and grip well and they roll well too so I’m happy
