depends on your budget really , I own a ragley blue pig and it’s more of a hardcore hardtail type bike with big forks ! cotic soul is very nice lovely finish and comfy but quite expensive . Another brand would be Pipedream sirus R853 they get rave reviews! 853 Reynolds tubing fantastic finish for £350 or if your on a real budget check out onone inbred, think there frames go for about £150 ish now ? to be honest there is quite alot of choice so take yeah time 🙂

I was told no at a bike shop as its a lighter wheel for smaller tyres, on the rim it says 2.2 but i’m sure a 2.35 would be fine ?

they are coil forks can you do this easily ? just found out they have a spacer 🙂

well after my ride today i’m quite taken to flats 🙂 both have there pro and cons but what I will say is that the v12 pedal and five ten shoes really do work I will need to learn how to ride flats properly but I was able to do some mini tail whips over the jumps so not bad really . I think I will use both pedals depending on the trail but for now I will be riding flats for a while as it’s a total different way of riding to what i’m used too so that’s good in it;s self !

yes maybe flats are better for winter riding when its wet a slippery roots etc think I will keep my spds to ride both 🙂

I had the pleasure of owning both and what I can say is the new current sov
was a good play bike compared to the soul but was a slightly harsher ride where the soul was more geared for trail riding and more comfy . The soul was beautiful to look at good finish etc, the sov paintwork is awful mine looked like 10 years old ( black one ) after a few months and a friends white version flaked away in weeks which is mad for nearly £600 frame !!

ok will try this cheers i can push the piston back in but it comes out again thought I had too much oil in the system ???

right just ordered one in blue I have 140mm forks to put on it so might have it quite saggy ??? I own an evil sov at the moment and I find its to harsh it has a 31.6 seatpost which does'nt flex causing discomfort !!! on one has a 27.2 mm and as I can remember has a bit of flex ! 🙂

I have an Evil sov and its awesome , yes it's expensive but so much fun and there's not many about on the trail 🙂 Mine is a medium and with the seatpost dropped it's like a little 4X bike to me the frame is so compact and chuckable , only problem I had was the paint job, it's shocking! mines being resprayed as we speak so can't wait to get back on it again !!! I did have a cove stiffee but found it a little to harsh at the rear 🙁

slowrider like your sov what does it handle like with lyrics on and what travel setting are you running them at ?
