    Hi Matt,
    shit luck,
I have an old lavadome in the garage, pretty much all there, 17in which you can have, perfect commuter bike.
It even glows in the dark!
that should scare the pompey scum away, as they will think it’s a ufo!
drop me a line and we can sort it out.
think it just needs a saddle and you may want to change some of the gears over, but am sure you have enough spares.
it’s doing nowt, so you’ll be doing me a favour.

Si – what is the latest trend in enduro braking?
us luddites on rigid bikes would love to know?

is it a thick leather patch glued to the top of your trainer?

Good too see you have been out on the bike, hope you had a good ride, and let’s be fair, it wouldn’t be a wca ride without some sort of injury/accident happening, now would it

not been on here for about 3-4 months, good to see pretty much every thread is
    a. exactly the same
    b. populated by the same people as before

good to see in a world going mad that STW stays exactly the same. 😀

Velocity blunt 35 on your choice of Hub at just riding along will fit the bill nicely for that. Doubt it would be too expensive either.

    yes will be there.

and yes rides are every week, rain, snow or sunshine.
It’s dark so lights are a must.
Rides typically last 1-1.5hrs depending on numbers and conditions.
Currently lots of felling going on, so think Good Morning Vietnam.
Some of us are as good as Ratboy (at breaking ankles) but other than that its a group of various abilities and is a nice social ride.

hmmm last 3 bikes have been Transitions, don’t think my next one will be, they look terrible in comparison to the current bikes.
I am sure they will ride well, but as others have said they are not very good looking bikes now, they just look a bit wrong in that guise.

the seat clamp that came on my transition has the same design, the side bit for cable for externally routed droppers. it works really well.
not as nicely executed as that tho.
cranks look ok but as others have said, the graphics are a bit over the top for my liking. nicely machined tho.

esi are awesome very grippy in the wet with or without gloves, mine seem to be fine in the middle but cut up on the ends from trees and dropping bike on ground, crashes etc
They are lot more comfy than my ODI Ruffians.

I don’t know a lot about Japan, but if you want a full sleeve tat in a traditional style it’s going to take days .
My half sleeve took approx 20 hours over 5 visits.
Also any good artist will be pretty well booked so may want to research now and get in contact with them and start working on designs etc and get your booking in.
You will not be doing much riding if you plan on getting a ton of work done either.
    Pretty sore afterwards.
Enjoy the trip very jealous somewhere I have always wanted to go.
Apparently the bullet train is awesome as is mount Fuji.
