I rung them up, never got through on the correct orderline So i rang sheffield.

Spoke to a lad on the phone and he said they were sent Monday from Rotherham on a 48hr service which would mean they should have arrived today!

Going to give them til Friday and get back on the phone

    Mud, Pah

Last time i was up there (few weeks back) it was all good doesn’t suffer with mud really. I rode it after a heavy downfall and the place i got dirty was blasting along the fire road to the bombholes

    Torque wrench FTL!

Generally i tighten them up snug then a bit more and havent had any issues with them working loose, distorting or the likes. 20-25Nm seems a bit tight in my opinion

Got some conti verticals on the way to me, In the past ive had Tioga Factory XC & DH 😆 Minions, Fire XCs, Specialised pro Resolutions. So far the minions have been the best in 2.35

I think ive seen that corsa at York Raceway guy drives like a tool, It had a different bumper and exhaust then, If its the same one it has a Calibra turbo engine in and goes like f***

I lol’d when i saw it, but didnt want to go up against it

Its to relieve turbos from backpressure, prolonging the life of it, They are rather chavvy i must admit but are functional

With manuals i was always under the impression you roll your weight backwards over the bike and try not to jerk on the bars, try keep everything smooth. 😕

    Theres Stainburn in Harrogate

Or another of my faves is Middlesmoor

Park up in Lofthouse, Ride up the hill through middlesmoor and keep going onto the bridleway, go over the top and drop down to scar house over the Dam take a left, up the hill for 200yds and take a right then follow that track accross the mooors to the shooting house and drop down back into Lofthouse.

On my own at trail centres yes, generally people dont get to overtake as i dont stop for rest breaks like others. Get some Prodigy, Pendulum etc on and your away, I find i ride a hell of a lot faster too and enjoy it more.

You dont hear your bikes noises either 8)

Loved Kirroughtree, and the Slab at Dalbeattie,

Glentrool would be a good one for a family ride, Depends how capable your kids and wife are mind, Most of the blue trail is easy going then as you come nearer to the end its lovely and flowy with some nice berms, Great fun for young ones. It also has some cracking views

    This is my old one

And i miss it quite a lot, had such a lot of fun on it i found it made me ride much better than i was, It gave me confidence to do things i wouldnt normally i did my first drop on it too 5ft 😮 Never done it again since selling it 🙁

Bought it for £450 stuck the monos on and sold it for £730 a year later 😀

To find out if the droplinks are knarked, you need to jack the front end of the car up (both wheels) to take the weight off the ARB, If theres play in them they need replacing.

Generally a droplink will knock while driving over imperfections in the roads surface, If it doesnt do this I suspect something just needs a lube up ARB bushes tend to be my first point of call

Not really, But i find Pro pedal on my stumpy great. I ride with propedal on most of the time until it gets a bit rougher

Tiboy, I’d be fitting it myself yes, with the help of some washers & threaded bar in the garage 😆

Take it they need greasing before they get fitted into the frame, Teflon ok?

I think the walthers are about 2ft/lb the pistols use .177 Pellets so its hardly going to do any damage to anyone, Potentially shot in the right place you could make sure someone doesnt see another day though!

The gunshop will offer the minimum possible, Personally I’d buy a few copys of airgun magazines and stick it in the classifieds, That way generally you’l only get someone whos interested in the hobby and is sensible.

You dont need licences to own or sell them although there were talks of bringing licences in for them because they are concelable (sp)

I’d change the whole lot if you can afford it ,I had the same setup and bought XT HTII, Some people say the BB is made of cheese but mines still holding up well. I love them

I have a float RL, I dont believe it had been serviced in the year i’d owned it before i did a service.

I changed the oil, changed the seals and dust wipers. The oil was pretty dirty TBH and the wipers were dirty. I never noticed any difference after the service though, they were marginally smoother but it wasnt huge.

I guess keeping the oil clean will make them last longer though, the stanctions wont wear out as fast??

Depends how much its been ridden, I only did mine because they blew a seal and they only get ridden properly maybe once twice a month 🙁
