Id recommend stretching slightly and getting the Sigma 24-70 F2.8. Pretty much the only lens I use for every thing from gig photos to riding

^^ You realise how much that house of kolor stuff costs, Its certainly not cost effective for a bike frame 😆

You could chuck some glitter into some Laquer and drop a coat of that on, then you'd have to build it up in laquer with no glitter in to cover though, IMO a cheaper and good look would be to drop some pearl over your frame, The pearl will transparent as there will be no base and in certain light will flip into your desired colour

No Blue loctite? If the threads still have a bit of loctite on them just put the bolts back in, they should be fine

Get pictures of it, Has he damaged it in any way or just scratched it & whereabouts on the bootlid is the scratch?

I'd be pissed if someone scratched mine TBH but i wouldnt have gone to main dealer bodyshop and if they contributed/ paid out for it i wouldn't mind.

I have to turn my TC off to get anywhere in this weather, I turn it off anyway because it does the brake distribution stability and the rest of the bollocks, last time it all kicked in i had no control and almost ended up the wrong way round on the road

If i'd have known dalby had no one there 🙁

Knew i should have headed out, I didnt go and went to stif instead fearing i would get stuck somewhere in teh car if i went riding

You tried sticking a tube in to get one side seated, Letting the tube down popping one side of the bead off to remove the tube then lubing it up and pumping?

Just stuck some high rollers on tonight, Sealed up lovely. Admittedly i stuck a tube in first to get one bead to seat, but the second wheel i just removed the core and hit it with the blow gun straight down the valve, pop pop pop smiles!

They've been holding air for a good 5 hours now i've kept flipping them over just to make sure its all fine, sealed etc. I'm very surprised how stable they are on the rims to, to be honest, I've got circa 35psi in them both and they are a lot more stable on the rims than my contis with tubes in on my 719s. Thats just testing it with my hand bud i cant see why it'd be no different riding, Ive tried to bend the tyre off the rim and get it to burp but it wasnt happening 😆

Tie a piece of string round the levers and bars holding the brakes on overnight, The air will rise to the resovoir and your Avids work again,

Done this many a time and they actually work better for it, Binned mine off though for Hopes because i kept knocking the trialign out and fading them

Funny you should mention it i've just stumled across the Stans rims ZTR flows,

My ridings more or less XC, But if theres a bike park where i am i like to have a thrash so need something with some strength, The 719s held up well just the rear hub let me down last time i was out.

Tyre wise i liked the chunkyness and grip my 2.3 minions offered so was thinking of getting another set of them, Probrably the UST versions

Flex i'm getting is the tyre on the rim running around 30psi, I never felt it before using fire XCs 2.1, I also used them on my old DT 4.10s and never noticed it, Maybe the Contis have softer sidewalls?? Which is why i was considering going slightly wider

I dont knock them, TBh my branch isnt too bad, It was ace when they had an older guy in and not a load of teens. The bloke really knew his stuff, gave me loads of advice and tweaked my dropouts as i managed to bend one for free 🙂

Dont know where he went to but when i knew he was in i'd take my bike up, Shame they cant have more people like it, The york and Leeds branches local arent up to much 😕

I've got a pair of sealskinz I couple them up with my tights and pull the tights over them, That way they dont get water in, My feet stay dry, warm and cozy.

I managed to put my foot in a nice puddle in the lakes in -2/4 last winter, Expecting to get a freezing foot in seconds (you know when you look down and think bo*****s ) i was very surprised that my foot actually stayed dry!

Going to change to baggie troos this year though, Tights looked ok with SPDs dont think they'l pull it off with Skate shoes somehow 😆

Muck off now cleans the wheels on my car after the mess it made of my pikes, Sprayed it on and wiped it about with a brush and rinsed it and it etched the paintwork, Dont know if i got a strong mix of it but its not getting used on my bike again, It also made a mess of my rear mech on my commuter 😮

after each ride, Wheels off, wash in soapy water with a paintbrush to get into the hard to get areas, stiff brush on the tyres, Blow off with the leaf blower 😳 , Lube fork stanctions and shock.

Chain comes off via powerlink stuck in a jar of degreaser and shaken liberally, rinsed in garage sink under hot water, dried off with towel and given a douse of penetrating lube, day before ride it gets some oil applied and wiped off on the day i ride.

Anal yes, I've found things have lasted longer and i can see if theres any problems easier and a clean bikes better to make adjustments on.

Every 4-5 months, Headset gets regreased and cables flushed out + other bits and bats

As long as it flashes orange and is visible its fine.

Sometimes on the standard orange bulbs the colour flakes off and they look white thats a fail, Maybe the guys confused?

I hate retro fitted HIDs theres so many people round here and they blind you because the beam patterns allover, Yours arent like it i take it otherwise you'd have known on the test sheet 😆

My car has the Philipps silvertec ones fitted, Never had a problem, I work at the dealership too 😀
