I got a new roadie yesterday, Having rode nothing but MTBs, Surprising how fast they are and how quick you knock the miles on. I think i’l have clocked around 25 mile up yesterday, just making sure everything was so so after i built it up.

Would love to get out today but **** me my arse hurts :laugh Might be seeing about getting another charge spoon.

Just used collectmyparcel for a bike, DHL turned out the cheapest through the site! The box was 16kg and it cost £11.95 with insurance,

Happy with that compared to the £35-£40 everywhere else wanted, Would use them again anyway

Drove 2 hours to lee quarry, rode up the hill and joined the red, got round the first corner and saw 3 or 4 black dropoffs witha red round them, cleared two of them and tore my tire open on the 3rd still dropped the 4th mind lol.

Then i arrived back at my car to find a cracked windscreen so have shell out another £80 to get a new one 🙁 expensive day once id noticed my rear shock bushes have gone and my pikes sprung a leak too lol.

I almost mowed some chaps dogs over in the freeride park on the 3 dropoffs

Well obviously you shouldn't have been going off the drop-offs unless you had first checked the landing for dogs running around. All your fault.

Was clear on the walk up!

I'm not sure if this'l work but i'l give it a shot, This is mine just cleaned up after last week in Scotland, Got to say its the longest i've owned a bike, I love it. I've even given it a fresh lick of paint lol

Its ace in the jump parks and seems to take whatever i can throw at it, I'm now looking into having my pikes tuned too to make it even better 🙂 and they have the usual leak that needs rectifying.

Its got the standard rear shock, Float R i think, In the two years i've had it its had a new set of seals when it packed down just after i got it and thats all i've done other than keep it clean and lubed up, Fit and forget 🙂

I have just broke up with someone the same age and i'm as old as you, She realised after 5 years when i started going out with my mates coming home drunk and spending less nights with her something was up. I hung on for 4 months thinking about it and hoping things would change but they didnt so told her how i felt and called it quits before Christmas!

Spent more time with my mates than i ever have, which i've enjoyed a lot as i missed out on my drinking and shaging around years, Now met a new girl and TBH she is awesome in every way i need 🙂 She gets on with my mates as i do with hers which is a big bonus for me.

Cant say my 182s let me down yeat in two years, Had the belts done 😮 not cheap as above,

They have a tendancy to pop CV boots off too i have found, rear shocks are weak and pop, top mounts knock, I've had a driveshaft on it and i think thats it apart from wear and tear items

been wanting to go myself tomorrow, The website says the trails are closed but it contradicts itself with the description??

Please note that Dalby Forest is open as far as the Visitor Centre only, please take extreme caution on the access road. All cycle trails and walking trails are still affected by snow and if you choose to use these please take extra care. Please note that vehicle access through the forest is limited and emergency services would also be affected by this situation.

Doesnt actually quote its closed anymore 8)

I wondered the same when i got my hoops, I went for the normal ones in the end as it was a new design and i've not heard of many people using them, If the normal hubs are fine why improve?

I've not broke a spoke yet mind *touch wood*

Probrably go with about £60-£70 couple of hours to prep and paint it! Didnt take me much longer to paint my heckler, quick sniff of aerosol primer where i'd gone through flatted it off and made a booth in the garage.

Paint came from work all had to naturally dry with a bit of help from the space heater, Took me about 4 hours to do it and it be cured, Left it in the house for a few nights then built it up

If its the same design rear as a Heckler it needs bottom swing, top pull I'd have though all mechs fitted as long as they were the correct swing
