You have to drive around with the window down unless you have impossibly small arms.

Got it for Motorsport purposes, its awesome and has come in handy as you get to analyse things that would happen mid-race that you might forget about. Biking wise I rarely bother. Its pretty cool for pictures though

Messi is a natural footballer, Ronaldo is a natural Athlete who plays football. This debate will go on forever, although i agree and hope Ronaldo does get the Ballon d’or as I put money on it whilst it was still at 5/1

Yorkshire does it for me usually. Leave the bag in because i’m too lazy to start poncing about waiting for it to brew properly before putting milk in

I’m not sure, but does GoPro cineform work with Vista? If it does, its worth using just to convert files to Avi. that way they are easier to use. (It’s downloadable free from the GoPro Website)

As far as other free software for edits, Windows movie maker will do the job for you just fine 🙂

Righto, I’ll drop them an email just to check. No email of dispatch, but confirmation of order. Could be a stock issue as they were popular that day

    Cheers

My old man caught some scrotes attempting to nab his car speakers in the middle of the night once. He chased them dressed in nothing but jeans and odd trainers whilst my mum stood at the end of the driveway with a rottweiler that simply did not want to be there (she was propped against the wall to stay awake). He did actually catch one, but only threatened not to come back (which they never)as they were teens and he was about 40.

Cheapo bearings will do the job for a time, but the sealing is usually inferior and the bearing races themselves tend to corrode a lot more easily

    Just what i needed, cheers.

What i’ve found is cheapo are going for circa 3.50 a go, whilst branded (skf or other) are anything from 9 to 12 pound a pop, when your buying 6 of them this makes all the difference.

The cheapo ones i’m replacing are notchy as **** rather than have play in them.

Seen less often admittedly, but you do whats comfortable, if you don’t mind sacrificing weight then go ahead.

I took my ‘enduro’ bike to an XC race once because it was all i had, still enjoyed it.

Ride it for a month, then if you still don’t like it think about trying a shorter stem.

Random – but only when used by teenagers which want to describe something that is out of the ordinary. Used in good context it is fine.
    Reem – need i explain?
Amazeballs – I don’t understand how this ever caught on…
Loam – no reason, just gets on my tits
Plush – I couldn’t describe this feeling if i tried as i don’t know what it is, but it really **** annoys me

And one that seems to be a trend with young girls who fancy themselves ..
Prinsor Prinnies (presumably short for princesses) – that one really makes my piss boil

And, she’s got a face like a melted wellie!

Irrelevant. And you wonder why you get some of the responses you do on here….

A woman that deliberately and calculatedly lied to trick a landlord

Shes a lady with 3 small dogs, shes not the joker..

Be realistic and you may find more people agree with your thought processes.

I have read the entire thread, and i can see both sides of this coin.

Yes you were lied to, you are bound to be concerned over a repeat of this, and at the same time annoyed.

I think the up front cleaning is reasonable, but as others have said the extra £pcm and 28 days maybe a little much and i can see why you’ve (planned to) request that, i just think maybe you should reconsider.

I think you could be in a worse situation as others have said. Yes she has lied and this is by no means any justification for lying, but.. she has probably been a little desperate in finding somewhere that will house her. If she has come from a break up as someone suggested, then this will have added to an awful situation for her. She has dogs that dog owners will understand are as loved as family members, so she didn’t know what else she could do. She may have lied because she was desperate, not because she was an impulsive liar who was trying to get one over on you. If this is nipped in the bud then chances are you’ll have a good tenant. The fact that she has rung you to apologize and paid a 6 month up front deposit surely sends signals of what kind of person she is?

As you say though, you need to be sure of that rather than just instinct, i’m just suggesting another angle to view from that is all.

Front wheel up (by this point your hanging off the back). imagine your Toes pushing down whilst pushing your bars away from you should have you in a reasonably stood up stance.

A letter addressed to that employee (if you know they’re name) through the store’s address. Bung a tenner inside, that way they have no option when it comes to accepting/ not accepting a ‘tip’ so they haven’t really done owt wrong. Plus that way it might slip under the eyes of management.

If I was crashing more frequently than that I’d consider a skills course or looking at my equipment to make sure it was up to the job

Watch the “This is Peaty” series somewhere. You tend to notice the pro’s crash all the time but just seem to be used to it that much they seem to be able to brush it off and forget about it (edit: I’m not talking about big off’s and obviously not hurt enough to stay off bike). Falling off is nothing to do with not being up to the job, its just finding your own limits and pushing them a little bit too much. If you can learn from the crashes then ultimately you will become a better rider.

Wheelie going up every fireroad and actual road as much as possible. Manual (well, try) down every fireroad or actual road that i can. Tyre wear significantly less on the front.

Not enough. I think half the time i like to push it but i’m a little wary of consequences and always expect the worst so won’t push it enough to find my own limits.

I take my brake discs off, wrap them in bubble wrap and tape them to the base of the bag as its hard so they wont flex on anything. Also rear mech and hanger off in one and taped inside the rear chainstays. I think anything else i did might of been ott but the bikes in one piece anyhow

I did the plastikote episode with primer. Can’t say the primer made much difference really but take your time with em whatever you do. light coat – dry (i mean proper dry) – rub – repeat until happy

I left mine in the house for a week before i rubbed them down just to make sure they were dry enough.
