    No, because they’re not muddy.

It can be a bit spooky on the south downs way, I kept hearing voices behind me above wilmington and at firle beacon, maybe carried on the wind, bit freaky at the time though as I was on my tod.

It was probably 10% – not bad though.

I bought mine from Nirvana last year and got a shed load of credits to spend in-store – 10% or 20% of the value of the bike I see to remember – not bad on a 3K bike.

maybe, my kenda nevegals have arrows indictating correct direction, more likely due to rubber compound and air pressure and your own weight.

If you want quality build and finish you need to check out the fillet brazed version of the ego, smooth as a smooth thing wrapped in silk – stunning.

I test rode a black gloss fillet brazed version, a right beauty. As is yours woodsman :-)

I test rode an Enigma Ego Steel at the weekend, absolutely amazing, very light and responsive. I also test rode the Ti version which to be honest wasn’t as much fun. I went to the Enigma open day on saturday, great bunch of guys, met the frame builder, actually held the raw steel and Ti tubes they use, the weight of the steel was incredibly light.

Benji from ST also gave the St Ego raves reviews, I’ll be ordering mine soon I hope.

Loving my reverb, I’m amazed how often I use it. There’s a bit of play, and squeaking, might try a bit of friction paste. Non bikers laugh in my face when I tell them what I paid for a seat post.

BT should give you a good deal if you play them off another.

Just a reminder that a little girl is still missing, possibly dead, the pain for the whole family must be overwhelming. Can the moron’s please keep their attention seeking smart arse remarks to themselves or twitter. ****

South Downs Way this time of year is corking, head to Friston Forest and Exceat, have a dip in the sea at the Seven Sisters and a pint of Harvey’s Best at the Golden Galleon, pretty dam awesome.

Happened to me last week in Marden Park near Woldingham, they were strategically place on steep tight bends, some were definitely a two person lift, or I’m a wimp. Anyway, I assumed it was walkers that may have been given a scare from riders not slowing down or being inconsiderate, no excuse though. Let’s all try and behave, slow down, say hello and just respect each other and the environment. Peace

I use: DMR V12s, Shimano DX and Easton Flatboys. No complaints about any apart from the DX’s have smaller studs.

If they still have the Formula R1’s watch out for loose bolts on the levers, I’ve lost two.

I took my (South East) kids to Glasgow at easter and they commented how everyone is much friendlier. Strangers say hello, thank you, stop to ask if we needed directions etc. Then I realised they we’re all drunk, high on cheap smack or were getting ready to mug me.

Gloves? Padded help. Sounds like your arms could be too tight, try to pump and flex them more to soak up the bumps. A powerball could also help to strengthen your grip and hand muscles

Not seen the recent ones, and only really watched the first one start to finish, that one really caught my imagination, I remember doing the transfers on the shreddies box.

    Then James Bond took over.

BTW – great post, great idea for a TV programme
