:) Had to stop using wax, stuff doesn’t wash off, can’t get a decent grip on my wacom stylus. Having hair can be a right nuisance.

I studied art, now I draw for a living, getting paid to be creative, most of my peers are spreadsheet slaves, can you deal with that?

I should be grateful he’s stopped eating it. Rotting sheep… urgh!

    Edit:

    Tomato sauce is your friend

I was told that yesterday, along with white vinegar.

My 11 and 7 year old boys bang a great noise out of these Yamaha DTX400K, it’s about £400 and good enough to have drum lessons on. Most shops will chuck in stool, stick and headphones. I recommend buying sme decent rubber tips sticks.

I got a Funn Hyperion cheap-ish on CRC, the clamp is heavier than expected but rock solid. The ride is smooth.

I don’t suppose you could go MAC based instead? Garageband and Logic Pro X are awesome.

Once you’ve gone past that bad taste threshold anything is fair game. Frankie Boyle should get a float next year.

Lance Armstrong a few years back ?

Nope, that was Edenbridge in Kent. It’s all harmless pantomime, pick a baddie that everyone recognises and burn him for a laugh, if you take it seriously you’re missing the humour gene. The real issue is that it’s not a great likeness

Saw some lovely 650 SC’s over Surrey Hills Saturday, they look fit for purpose :) I test rode a Blur LT many years ago and didn’t get on with it, in hindsight it probably just wasn’t set up right for me.

I’m actually thinking of going back to vinyl, a lot of the deep house tracks I like are only pressed up on vinyl.

Yep, was a DJ and producer back in the 90s and early 2000s, mainly house, I was never a natural 100% seamless beat mixer though, I used to enjoy the party too much if you know what I mean. I got into Tractor when it first launched, it’s getting too complicated for my taste now, you can’t be a simple eq mix imo, I do the odd re-edit, creating loops in tractor and then exporting them into Logic, I love programming my own beats from vintage drum machines and disco breaks. I’ll never be a DJ Sneak or Todd Terry but it’s great fun. I hated Abelton when it came out, felt like a dodging PC program, but that’s just me being naive and a mac sob.

Very very busy today, take care and take your time if you’re going down, especially with young ones. Patience will be rewarded, it’s a moving spectacle.

    Thanks David, that’s reassuring advice.

I’m due to bottle Sunday, would it hurt if I left a day or two? Fermentation has slowed down a lot so I think it’s ready.

If you are serious about steel it might be worth waiting to see what MASON come up with, Dom Mason designed the Sync. Not sure if a 29er is on the cards though, but steel is?

So after years of wanting to brew I’ve done a days brew course at a local brewery, love the mash stage and now my days work is fermenting downstairs, I must admit I’m a bit nervous about the next stage, siphoning and bottling, would be a shame to go and cock this stage up. Any tips greatly appreciated whilst I read through this thorough post. Cheers

Anyone experimented with adding fruit peel, wondering how pomelo peel would work, I’m getting ahead of myself.

I’m on a large at 6’4″, and it certainly doesn’t feel too small.

Mine too, certainly wouldn’t want any larger.

I ride my Sync all year round, it’s a very versatile and very fast bike, the tubing and build quality is top class. Most of my riding is Eastbourne end of South Downs and North Downs/Surrey Hills, just recently swapped the dropper post with a Ti post, mainly for weight and comfort on all day XC rides, ditched the backpack too.
