I’m going to ride the L-B off road and then the best third of the SDW to Eastbourne

I’ve done that from Woldingham Surrey, NDW > Downslink > SDW. Downslink is boring old railway track. I’d rather go to Peaks or Wales, Afan and Brecons.

On the last few eps of BB, dragging a bit, lost of bit interest as the only characters I liked are dead. Hoping Saul is better.

hadn’t thought of using it for second TV!

if you do, swap it with the other one every now and then so you get the new software downloads.

If you try selling it on ebay you might get contacted by BT. I’d keep hold of it until or if they ask for it. If they don’t you’ve got a spare freeview hd box.

Btw – they do multi room now, and a mobile streaming service.

I’m 6″4 so at the very limit of the lg, I must say it’s one of the most comfortable and fast bikes I’ve ever ridden, the fit is spot on? its very compact for a 29er. Your welcome to put a leg over mine if you’re ever in the surrey or east sussex area

I bought CO2 inflator and Birdman mini pump from xcracer.com, ironically, since I’ve had them I’ve had zero punctures so not even use them yet.

There was a nice Ti HT on the USE/Exposure stand at the London Bike Show, can’t remember the name, similar geo to the Sync, anyone?

29er or 650b I assume, I’m 6’4 and ride the Kinesis Sync Ti lg 29er, it’s 142mm rear with direct mount as standard, this is an aggressive XC/trail bike depending on your fork set up. Well worth a look.

@ simon_g – that vid is spot on, reminds me of my crew back in the day, breakdancing at the bandstand, and going to barn dances, I mean illegal raves.

I was born there, and used to live in Southborough, between T Wells and Tonbridge. It’s very nice, a bit provincial and clicky, Pantiles is very quaint, often used on TV, great cookwear shop, it’s got a very middle class whiff but believe me it’s got all the usual rough estates that makes this country so great. The surrounding Weald countryside is very beautiful, Penshurst, Speldhurst, Chiddingstone etc etc. Country pubs galore. MTB ain’t great, lots of muddy bridleways, yes Toy’s Hill up the road but the trails are mainly full of dog walkers, some fairly decent XC on the Greensand way heading over Crockham Hill.

Some nice rocky bits too, High Rock and one that looks like a Toad :) Lot’s of Steam Railways in the area if that’s your thing or have young kids.

Especially if you can afford to pay the fines

Most can afford £60 x 2, no brainer.

Do it. We got our fines last week, didn’t realise each parent got fined, still doing it next year though.

Awesome, thanks for the link, very much my era, had a lot of those early 80s tunes on 12″ and the UBB albums. My first gig was grandmaster melle Mel, sadly couldn’t make the dj shadow renegades gig, nice idea Bambaataa is a legend.

Was talking to Rory from Upgrade at the LBS last week about fitting the high volume WTB Scraper 27.5 rims to my Lg Sync 29, half fat but not niche fat.

EDIT: not that fat is niche anymore

I got a nescafe dolce gusto for christmas, I had low expectations but was really impressed, it’s a million miles away from a Monmouth flat white but it’s also streaks ahead of instant, might have a frothy cap now.

I can’t fault the strut bar on steep techy trails, more surrey hills than dh though, as good if not better than my easton haven, wider too.

Don’t blame you, I was going up on a mtb and was really surprised at the condition, Kent roads have always been bad but that’s a joke.

I spent a long long time at the London Bike Show looking at the the ATR, it’s got classic written all over if, just so nice from every angle, the flat bar alloy version is very nice too, and great value. Was good to chat with Rory from Upgrade about how the Tripster came to life, and really interested to see what Dom’s own Mason collection will be like. Until then I might try the large volume WTB 650b rims on my Sync.
