Worn tifosi for years, trouble with cheap ones is the lens just scratch too easy and go dull. I’ve also just bought some tens with built in 70s instagram filter, cool :)

I’ve got an xt set up with a praxis works adapter, no issues so far, the bike is an absolute joy to ride, fun fast and comfortable enough for all day epics, the small is a 650b though. I’m running the large 29.

looks badly hand drawn rather than a font, the internal curves on the spine of the S are not balanced, and yes I’m a font snob.

My consultant recently diagnosed an 80+ year old with a broken scaphoid, when asked how he did it he could only remember an accident he had during the war.

Finally had a Ti screw put in mine, over a year or so of faffing with splints, a right pain in the ar$e wrist.

My 6 and 10 year old boys love it, squid and stampy vids are legendary, seems more creative and constructive than some activities, watch out for fake stampy’s on YT and Instagram, some sick people out there on tut web.

Got a windy ride on the South Downs on my Sync planned this weekend, can’t wait. Loving the carbon seatpost, trails are even smoother. Not missed the dropper, even on steep drops.

I’d have a 50mm stem with 780mm bars. 750mm is wide enough for me.

Everybody’s got their own shit, having a decent salary doesn’t automatically make you a dick.

I think that sums it up perfectly, let’s wrap it up there shall we.

Maybe the solution is to nuke Surrey from orbit..?

Nice idea but the UK would really end up third world if you did, and think of all the poor audi’s.

Can’t believe this is still bubbling away.

Can I ask a couple of serious questions?

    1. how many of you actually do a job that’s worth in market terms £120k?
    2. how many of you wish you had a job earning £120k?
    3. and if you haven’t why not?

Like I said, £120k ain’t a fortune for man of his age living in Surrey and working in the City the best part of his working life, that’s a lot of commuting in rush hour on packed trains, endless corporate meetings and conference calls, a slow death by powerpoint and excel spreadsheets, and I bet his phone and email is constantly pinging KPI’s until 10 at night. I think he deserves more, I bet he probably does.

Prejudices aside it’s actually quite an interesting article, the point is that every section of society is feeling the pinch, and let’s face it £120k salary for a City worker living in Surrey ain’t that much, he’s being honest and isn’t really after sympathy as he said himself:

Jackson’s tone is matter-of-fact. Like the rest of the Squeezed Middle, he is keenly aware that his situation evokes little sympathy.

I’m just outside south london, ride North Downs, Surrey Hills, South Downs and Swinley. What’s Epping like? Was thinking of doing Beastway, for fun mind.

Arp3 is a genius piece of deep house, I’m really into smallville records sound and rush hour.

It was indeed a dump then. I had a small label for a few years, I lost heart too. Music industry is tough. You plugged a welsh trip hop band for me, got my remix played by Steve Lamacq, so it worked.

You probably know Mark Webster then?

    Yep 7 was update.

    My bro name is Mark.

Did you see Dj Shadow, James Lavelle dj set tickets went on sale this morning?

Stand and wait for referral letter from the GP, you pick the consultant you want, do research based on your ailment and location, check insurer is willing to use them, they have an approved list, sorted.

ZZonked? pretty sure you did some PR for a band for me I think. Where you based in Stratford? I know Karl at DMC and my bro was editor of seven and mixer magazine. Also Blues & Soul years ago.

    Russ Jones rings a bell.

Greg Fenton also played at one of our parties.

Went to SIN, Energy was pretty special and before house kicked off Royal Oak, Dingwalls and Doo at the Zoo. Holloway and Rocky and Diesel used to dj at our club from time to time. I used to work with Mick, he was a club promoter mate of Farley’s and part of the Boys Own crowd. I know a few in the industry and DMC people too, even used to do Southport and Prestatyn weekenders, in fact Tony Humphries was pretty awesome.

Parkie at Southport was always special.
