    Aha!
This is good constructed trails, I know where the above linked bit of the trail is and yes it is tricky and yes the hole has THANKFULLY gone! :)
exactly the bit I was talking about, its got a bit of everything in on such a short section. Must practice more!!

    HARD AND HARD AND HARD
At least there is almost a nice surface now- last year was grass and mud and pulling brakes had no effect as you just slid then crashed :)

She had a hoffman rhythm before but that was 18" wheel- still great bike though

Artist I remember you guys :) think we met on your 2nd run? Nice photo!
    We were
    Yeti HT
    Haro HT
    Lapierre Spicy
    Giant Reign
Diane- give it a shot – its fine- if you do have a mechanical or anything else nobody can miss you as its a 1 line track! :)

SINGLESPEED were you there with guy on Froggy?
Just wondered how the Froggy got on- still fancy one even though I have ordered the CCDB for my Spicy.
Will it be worth a frame change??????

it was a glorious day and it wasnt that busy and there were areas where you can pass others of the board walk

we were on 2 hardtails and 2 6" sussers
1 HT got down with only 1 puncture
1 Ht got down with no punctures but 4 crashes and a different speed to first HT!
1 full susser got down no probs
1 full susser had 4 falls and a differeing speed again!

Its definately not a Red XC- its tougher in my opinion
We rode Laggan Red and then came to Fort Bill for another Red- we didnt realise it was a Red DH- we thought that Nevis had made the Red to get revenue and numbers up- thinking a Spooky Wood style track was in place!
Its fun but not something I would do run after run on
tyre pressure will be critical I would suggest if your not on DH casing tyres

Fit or Mirra Co are lighter bikes aimed at a younger less muscley age.
Should make it easier for the rider to throw about a bit.
Still bomber strong just better set for a younger kid

FOX Antifreeze are my choice currently. The options of running both liner and outer first thing till you get warmed up and then remove liner for rest of day.
Good feel even with both on- my best gloves so far.

It was stewart wilson or something in Stirling. Brampton Street If I remember. Was there on day out on hold and went to tiso as I thought they had an alpine bikes upsairs, staff sent me 5 mins walk along the road to the stewart wilson shop, picked up everything I needed including the tyres. I used them for 3/4 xc rides in aberfoyle area in the snow and ice and they were ace. I have just came in from a ride tonight and the rear has gone flat! I was riding on the pavements round town, didnt hit anything and didnt notice anything that would have punctured them. There was another post about problems with schwalbe winter tyres – I hope I havent suffered the same fate as others have had! I will insopect them tomorrow after work.

Fox antifreeze- bought them last week. There are 2 gloves – 1 liner and then the outer. I wore both till I was up to temp and then removed the liner and still had good feel without the liner. I like em!
