That’s the closest I’ve seen so far so that might be the one that will do. It looks like a slight rise at the bar clamp but I can probably live with that. Thank you

That’s the one I thought would work Pjay but I don’t think it will. The other one has ridge for the clamp. The Syntace has ridges for the stem bolts so not suitable, either.

It’s the flat top style that I’m looking for, but thank you.The KTM Team stem is exactly the same but not in the size I need. So, the exact style is not available? Is their any other stem that has the flat top style? I thought I’d found one by Giant but it can only be used with an odd sounding internal steering system.

I wish I could say more but I’ll get into trouble.

Ticketmaster do as they’re told and let’s just say, “dynamic” is so very true. Lots of people behind the scenes during these sales, being told what to do, in the moment.

I’ll bow out now or I could be unemployed and on a plane back to Blighty.

But…..not on general sale. Only those who were thrown out of the queue mistakenly or got the 504 error

It could very well be pure coincidence but there is a fencing contractor in Hope Valley with DC initials…..

Oh dear, That’s nearly as much as the trailer and it wouldn’t work as the trailer arms would just slip off. Nothing on that website looks like it will work. Thank you though.

Thank you very much. I’m really excited.

The Spanish office is in Madrid.

    Thank you all.

I’ve just had a ping on my personal email from my new manager . All good and very reassuring, as indeed you guys have been.

I’m going to become a paid member here. The forum alone is worth every penny (soon to be Euro).

    Thank you.

HR have said it’s for the current and recruiting managers to sort out. Our. or I should say ‘current’ HR are useless. Even though its the same company, my new role will be covered by a different HR department.

Yes, my current manager was very aware that I was very unhappy in my current role and has almost daily, since I was granted my new position last week, tried to talk me out of it.

I’m trying to get hold of my manager but she is not located in the UK , as I am. My new role is in Spain and I am so vert excited. I’m maybe panicking too early but this is my dream move….

    Thank you all, again.

Have you thought about giving him the responsibility of keeping his privileges?
Show trust in him with rules attached? For example. X amount of hours in the evening with unrestricted internet BUT, any evidence of pornography, not completing your homework, very bad attitude (he’s a teenager, bad attitude is a given – he can’t help it) etc and you’ll start to lose your privileges.
Having the reward with the prospect of losing them was a massive motivation for our son. If he had to earn the privileges first, he wouldn’t have put the effort in but with him having responsibility for losing them…. He was no angel and lost a couple of things and soon realised that earning them back was way harder than keeping them in the first place.

(The) Problem solved (itself). It quite unexpectedly took off at high speed, straight past me and across the road. I’ve ripped the carpet out and the garage is now completely empty so I think it will be very disappointed if it comes back.

Not much further back than that and 14 year olds were out of school and working long hours in horrendous occupations.
More progression going on than regression, as time passes.

Cougar. It’s not as black and white as I think you think (if that makes sense) it should be.
It’s degrees of difference where the age between two people goes from unremarkable to down right weird and to most peoples sensitivity’s, down right wrong.
A person aged 25 and another aged 35 would be barely noticed. A 16 year and 26 year old would be, in most circles, considered at best, strange. Add in the fact that despite the frankly bizarre situation  where a 16 year old can’t legally buy alcohol, cigarettes or vote but can legally have sex, 16 year olds are, let’s be honest, still more within the realms of childhood than adulthood.
As I say, in my humble opinion, it’s not black and white, more of increasing or decreasing blurred lines but 16 is no age for an adult of 31 to be exploiting, because that’s what he (Brand) did, if it’s true, a child. Crikey, even four years difference (16 and 20) between the two ‘consenting’ people, although legal would raise a few eyebrows.

Thank you all and particularly wwpaddler. I’ve submitted the information to the Police including his name and vehicle details via the Contact Us portal.

My daughter was plagued with migraines from being very young. Then, aged17 ( last year) her friend mentioned teeth grinding in  her sleep. We took a not very expensive chance on a top and bottom gum guard thing from Amazon. Instant relief and barely a headache since. It might be worth a try? She struggled to sleep for the first few nights but now? Life changing. Literally. She was unable to attend classes at University, it was getting that bad. Anybody suffering with migraines, so much more than a headache has my absolute sympathy.

This is the thing though, I can’t know if he’s gone to the pub or otherwise whenever he goes out in his car at the weekend. It’s only when he comes home and you see him pulling in to our small close and on to his drive, clearly the worse for wear that he’s been drinking and driving again
I can’t go and sit in his local every Saturday and Sunday and wait for him.

I wouldn’t think myself a coward but by the same token, I can’t hit a nail with  a hammer so I’d prefer a less confrontational solution but a solution needs to be found quickly.
101 it is then. I wasn’t sure they’d bother with it but I have a civil duty and I absolutely detest the inconsiderate bully. Thank you.

Lots to go at here. Thank you all for your help. A 32t cassette and a 25mm B screw has been ordered. I’ll try that and then work through all the other options suggested until she’s happy*

*happy for her involves spending no money so I’m losing that war already.

Ye Gods! It’s really not simple, is it?
So, if the change from 28t to 32t isn’t enough and keeping it as cheap as possible, the only further option is smaller chainrings, which of itself will be dependant on bcd? Although, will front mech compatibility come into play? At this point, I have no idea want front mech is on there.

Thank you for that. 32t ordered. She’ll have to see how she goes with that before making a decision on the chainrings. I may be back for help with that.
    Massively helpful. Thank you again.
I missed the last comment sorry. A longer B screw. I’ll keep that nugget to myself and buy it if it needs it. It’s best I just get on with it and hand it back working as she’d like. Reluctant Mechanic as well as rider.

Yes, that’s a good idea. Only the bike owner looks at me with a puzzled expression when any of my suggestions involve replacing parts which equates to spending money.
I only ride a bloody bike for commuting when the family car is used for others things.
I’m not a massive fan, yet as ‘a bike rider’, I inherit friends and families’ issues and fixes.

Hmmm, this isn’t easy, but still workable? Currently running 52/36 which I think will be changed for 50/34 or even sub compact, depending on the bcd.
Tiny legs are struggling as soon as the road rises.
All very helpful though, thank you.

Thank you very much. She’s going to order a SRAM 32t based on your experience’s above.
