Interesting no one shouting out about Camelbak, think they were the first ones in this field but looks like there designs have barely moved on in 20 years.

Sort it or they will lay the wall in overhand technique and your parents will not want to look at that everyday.

Not wanting to hijack the thread but as an ebay novice I have the same thing I have an item on there listed through the list a price not auction.

If I just choose to remove the item and don’t want to sell it, will ebay charge me?

I am not sure on the whole Dash Camera thing, I cannot see how it makes roads safer especially as it seems that it adds another device in the car that drivers are fiddling/looking at.

This said I can see that if there is crash it can help to lay blame.

Maybe an improvement in driving standards would help as there is some shocking drivers out there.

I would suggest that you need a receipt/Guarantee for this work especially if you come to sell the property and someone may ask who did the work etc. He very may well be disclosing cash payments in his returns so decision is purely up to you.

Posting it on an open forum should help the tax man find him if he is doing anything wrong and needs to charge him later down the line though….

I am thinking the pendant might be at fault as often teddy bears are chucked about etc. hitting the light.

Just wondering if I was missing something here!!

Sandwich, surly the over night is cheaper, I find all of the Power Supply world Double Dutch, as I think most do! It seems to be there to scare you in to not switching/asking.

Plain and simple the Ashtray in the centre console that came with the car.

Just let her ride her own bike and she will then realise it is rubbish and pester you for something better, that is if she enjoys it but sounds like she does.

Fallen off lots, just never hurt the knees that bad, that said the big crashes where have involved split helmets and shale pieces stuck in helmet so was not concerned of a few cuts and bruises to the rest of me.

Northwind, I am not saying that skills stop you falling off, very far fromit, but there is a difference between an international downhill rider coming off and Joe Blogs on a bit of singletrack at the local forest centre.

A question to the OP – Do you wear gloves when you ride?

Yes and know, one if I can find a pair and dependent on weather they are not critical to a ride me.

I possibly see the work element if you need to rely on knees but I can hobble in to an office.

Think the marketing of you coming off on grit stone, etc. is if you go down hard you are still going to bruise etc.

andeh, Most Burglars of resi properties are opportunistic unless they know that you have lots of cash etc.

Also see you have a tight landlord. Cheap method is putting a few lamps on timers to ping on at certain times, as looks like you are up etc. and lights can be seen behind curtains. If they think you are up and about often a major deterrent.

Trawling through the ever endless ones on the market I like the look of the Westfire.Uniq.17 even thought it is not a multi fuel and also the one I like the look of the most is the Purevision PV5 even if it is a bit more than I wanted to spend and potentially deeper than I wanted as well…. Time to make the Fireplace bigger with a hammer!!

Do you think you got the same level of interest with online as with a High Street Agent?

Jekkyl, Whilst it is not a huge sum of money, I take it you pay if you sell or not?

On an offer, if it is made to the agent then they are legally bound to report it to their client. This is not conditional on you viewing the property.

As a Chartered Surveyor, I always make clear to a resi agent that I know this fact as I know what they are like!

If they do not report the offer then there is options available to you.

Always make an offer in writing, subject to contract and any other conditions that you feel are necessary.

It would be a leased car where a monthly sum was paid for it. So if it is pcp you can devalue 100% where as only 50% for leased?

    Craigxxl,

Does that apply with the rental one? Sorry very green on tax. Company pay for the rental of the car and I am taxed with benefit in kind.

It is not that it was not locked, they can just get a device to open it up and get around all the security etc.

Have you tried going back to the vendor with the valuation and spoken with them? As if every valuation is going to come up at the £165,000 they wont get a sale!

Possible agree with vendor to have a independent valuation done to see what that shows up!

His diet was off a company called RT Sport I think, they had no knowledge of him (well somthing called the idave diet) when I spoke with one of their guys on Twitter about it.
