by accident I blew my tyre up with the valve in the 2 O’clock postion by accident !,upon riding the thing was all over the place..

good job I realised, let it down & blew it up again with it in the correct 12 o’clock position….I wont do that again.

If it’s a shimano hub ya can get certain bits !.,issit on sealed bearings or cones ?,with bearings you’ve half a chance ,if not good luck ..

I use paraffin/kerosene to
Clean the chain ,wipe the excess off ,blow it dry with an airline then lube it..

Clean ya chain ,dry it re-lube it ,as often as possible that way you’re prolonging the life of everything ,it’s nowt to do with it being Hope.

Ya can’t over maintain anyrhing!,& just cos it says Hope on it dosn’t mean you just fit & forget either !.

I’ve 2 Trabecs, and my lad has a Macaskill receptor he’s 9, fit and quality is very good, my ony issue is the pads, they fall to bits when you wash em, apart from that, they’re mint.

I crashed 2 years ago in a Met, hit a tree and was knocked out, the helmet smashed so it went in the bin,& that was £85.00…what price do you pay for safety ?..

Parkwood springs,which is nxt to the old ski village ,there’s wharncliffe & grenno woods where peaty lives & trains too just north of town ,or 45 mins south is Sherwood pines in north notts .

Or head west to the Peaks !.

I have both m4’s & tech 3’s ,with 5.1 fluid in and I run Uberbike sintered pads,regular bled & serviced .both with tech levers for span adj not race.

I’ve got 200,180 on m4’s,& 280,160 on tech 3’s ,if you need more stopping power than that,buy some Brembos !.

As for feel ,you won’t get better than Hope,and you can get service parts anywhere,not to mention there legendary after sales support .

Buy British ,fly the flag,job done ..

My lad had a carrera blast from being 6/7 on 24″ wheels,it was wellodded by the time he’d done with it ,earlier this year I sold it ,he’s got an Orange crush now 15″,26″ wheels I’ve dropped the forks to 100mm & he loves it,& can ride it !,the little fecker ,a bit too good for a 9 yr old.
