My lads 7 & hes been riding 2 years now without stabilsors,the wife & i tought him on the local plsying field,by making him ride unassisted from one to tother,he did in 20 mins !,balance the lot,hes now got a full suss bike with discs on
!,lol,we’ve just done Sherwood pines thisaft & he’s been messin around in the tech park & fell off the bit of north shore in there a few times but got straight back on that’s how I teach him ,it’s easy to be a bit too close to them & cuddle them but at the same time he needs to toughen up ,we all did !,but he’s fine.

mmmm point taken,i do however think things like brake,suspension feel is personal too,however using the above with correct servicing all helps…as do floaters etc etc…

Surely pad material & decent fluid would help wouldn’t guys? ,std sintered pads & castrol SRF, if its good enough for moto gp you lot wont boil it,even the do ers!

Hi ive got a Five Black & Gold on order but it is taking forever.. Do i cancel order and get a zesty 514 instead.

I too have a Five on order from Orange,the delay is the rear shocks,theyre awaiting delivary from Fox in the states,& they wont be with them until the first week in march the factory told me..

Theres only one warranty anygood,& thats the original one the car came with,so if its been serviced by a franchised dealer,@ the correct time or mileage & still within 3 years old & under the manufacturers stipulated mileage,youve got a chance,with most things..all the others will wriggle..

Unless you can prove,or a garage can prove,its not down to wear & tear,youre gunna struggle,& nearly always,you’ll have to pay for the labour,& they cover the parts,so sometimes youre better off doing the job yourself,they do know this !,do not whatever you do,take it to a garage,& say its under warranty get on with it,because by saying that youre authorising them to start work & you’ll be liable for the full amount,its a long slog usually with an independant Co,but let the garage get the authorisation for you,but i bet youll have to pay for the labour…

Don’t put oil on ure pads boys FFS !

The best thing to do would be to remove them
& Let them dry after a good wash,and if you’ve got access to an airline blow the caliper dry !,this is gd maintenance …

A tooth brush or similar is ideal to wash inside ure calipers then do the above !.

Another good tip is to remove them from the mounts & let them dangle in warm soapy water ..

Personally id strippem down then get them powder coated or 2 pack done by a car painter,then reassemble them,itll be cheaper in the long run as most diy type paints are too brittle & shell off,!

Dont do it! ,f****** pay pals as bad,,i got nipped for £1200.00 a few years back,the guy said hed not recieved the goods but i had pos royal mail got involved & the lot,but i didnt grt a penny back,he got the goods & a refund so be careful! .
