Ive just got my 7 yr old a blast,& done the same with upgrades,ive put shimano 545 brakes on,dart 2 forx,v 8 reps,& changing the twist grip shifters to thumb shifters,so they start to learn & change gear without pickin up an habits! ,theyre a great bike,currentley on offer for £199.00 @ Halfords..

I used to get 7/800 miles on Racetecs off my rear on my R1,&when track daying id change the rear @ lunchtime! ,so it all depends what you want & how you ride etc,do you want longivity or grip!.

Loss adjusters are barstards theyre bonused on the amount they can save the Ins Co,so they look for any loop hole they can,we were burgled @ work,the claim was for £25k,they paid me just under 10,ive no chance of getting the other 15,due to the wriggling!,so be careful,worst thing is,i thought they were going to be fine,i 100% never claimed for a dime more than was missing,in actual fact i under claimed! ,thats what honesty gets you….. Bugger all !.

Apparentley the best way to do an Ins job,is to tie an oily rag to a rats tail,then light it,so when the fire/Ins investigator comes,he cant tell tell wtf the fire started as theres loads of little ones…..so i was told 😉

Milton fluid or Wilkos equivalent job done.

White spirits oil based so ya never put oil anywhere near brakes,meths,brake/carb cleaner only !.

Dont yah just do it with the screws on the mech? .

Thx for the comments guys,i understand tyres are personal like colours bikes etc we all like & get on with different things,however,i think ill have a change,to what im unsure but ill keep listening to the advice /comments,so thx.
