What characteristics of the Reba do you want to change?
I’m assuming the Reba is 32mm stanchions? if so, at 150mm that’d be a fair reason to swap out to 34/35/36mm.
What budget? as you’ve mentioned the Ö word I assume the sky’s the limit – might be worth scanning some reviews of forks you fancy.

I am familiar with Ohlins from my motorbike back ground, and tbf, they’re the bo**ox on them, but this is a MTB, so a different beast.

I hear what you’re saying, theres deals on the Ohlins (& others), but I also take into account the reliability,& service & back up.

Yes they’re 32mm,so a stiffer thicker station would help feel, less flex etc, I also like the remote lock outs, which mine don’t have.

Whose doing the biz on Rockshox, as the Pike debonair is a great fork,no question.

ive recently lost my Mum last month to Dimentia after 5 years, god knows what carers are going through,or familys.
All I know is,it was a blessing for us in the end,so anyone going through it ,or working in it,my heart goes out to you..never mind the Corona virus.

They’re 2015’s,I thought it was a straight forward token job, similar to Fox,I wanna let my 11yr old ride it, so need to lower it a bit, but want to have the option of going back up,so didn’t really wanna butcher them….so if that’s what it takes he’ll have to learn to ride !,lol, thx again.

Had bikes for nearly 30 years & have sold up recently, riding kit also.
I’m not burdened with a wife & kids, so no pressure there. I just prefer to spend my free time on the mtb these days rather than blatting around the countryside.
I dont miss it and have no plans to get another.

Similar !,in 2007/8 I did 30 odd trackdays here and abroad,& now I havnt even got so much as a pair of gloves…
Was involved In BSB,Rd racing etc….but not bothered, funnily enough 2 separate people have approached me in the last 2 weeks to do something again for nxt year,& ive said no to both..

    I said try Mtb’ing,its the future.. 😉
