Maybe Rotor rings would have given Dave the power he needed to beat Reg Harris in the UK champs all those years ago ;0)

Possibly Mike although it is Brizzle Bikefest that sort of time, if I’m up I’ll drop you a line about some miles.

British troops are most certainly protecting a faith as they serve the crown which is the default head of the Church of England.
It would seem a rather nice way to show the stupidity of a hardline response and actually start making the Islamic community start to condemn it’s own by allowing them enough rope to hang themselves with. Certainlty the Islamic Council of Great Britain has condemmed thes action, with a growing community condemnatation, support for extremism will be eroded one would hope. Ceratinly the abhorrent and feable expulsion of Gert Wilders is for this cause I feel.
The whole point of freedom of speech is it is just that despite the view point.

Yep a few feet of scaffold pole or something of that ilk over the end of your spanner and it’ll just come off like you’re not even trying.

Oh and you can get rapha to send you your kit by cycle courier on a Friday afternoon, what could make anywhere btter than London with that kind of service eh ;0)

Loads to do and loads of riding without having to drive to it which is nice, not being a driver and living in London gives me quick access to way more trails than I ever had living up North.

North or South Downs from North London is no problem at all, I’m quite happy riding from E17 to Waterloo or London Bridge for a 5 or 6 hour North or South Downs ride when the days are longer, rest of the time I’m tending to just ride Epping.

    Hmmmmm…

Epping is good for a pootle without really having to travel but it’s by no means technical in any way shape or form, a couple of reasonable sets of bonmbholes built by kids which are fun when it’s not 6 inches deep in clay chod.

In winter you don’t need brakes or suspension….

If you’re confident and ride properly in traffic the need to stop suddenly is not that common, I think I’ve had two or three incidents of having to really anchor up in three years of London commuting. I’d be quiet happy to be behind a cyclist at a foot, I’d like to think that I’d not actually be copncentrating on the wheel but looking ahead to see what was happening.

Brake test entirely childish why would you do it, if his riding was that much of a nightmare drop him properly between light or just let him go in front. yes I know it’s hard on that bit of road but if he was as fat as you say a bit of effort would have seen him off the back. I know I’ve been dropped off the back on the way home from a hard Richmond park ride.

Sound like the usual keyboard warrior in here getting steamed up about nothing really…
