How many d’ye need Fitz? The complete bikes come with a generous stack! Ran mine for a bit then chopped the steerer, unused spacers were stuck in the drawer never to see the light of day again most likely.
If there’s enough there for you then happy days. Emails in profile.

It’s the Jim Beam that’s done that, should’ve used a decent single malt!
Done the same building fat nexties, shoogle it down by the valve hole then give henry the hoover a shout.

Got one as a 40th birthday present for myself! At the time it was the only bike I had and as a result it was used for everything. Initially thought it would be hard work but it turned out the opposite, sure there are times that 160mm of travel was deemed too much by mates but I managed. Found it climbed amazingly well as long as I stayed seated which suits me as a typical ‘winch and plummet’ kinda bloke! Point it downhill tho and it does a proper job! Sat unridden for two years now due to a shoulder injury but just can’t bring myself to sell it!

My first spyres were on 105 5600 levers and currently run them on 6700 ultegra, both on linear strand/compressionless outers. I thought they felt better on the old 105! As Bez suggests a couple of quids worth of outer from your lbs will see you reet.

Ben, no bending stress or load going through the forks, they’re only supporting the front of the bike, no matter which way they’re turned I’ve never had a bike fall over! They don’t slide about on the carpet due to the tyre offcuts wrapped around the ‘feet’. I did say they were made from shed fodder! I’m only across the water from you if you need a hand with anything.

Not personal experience but as Dunc above,my Mum has recently also received the all clear, she said that the chemo was a lot harder on her than the radiotherapy. Positivity and family support helped massively, as did an e-bike when she felt up for getting out and about! Again, good luck with your treatment Andy.

If you’re making your own cradles just make them to fit around the boot trim, alternate the bikes as they go in and turn the bars to suit.if your cradle holds the back wheel tight enough it doesn’t matter how the forks sit on the floor. The fatbike just sits like that because I don’t have to fit any others around it. You could even make a proper job of it rather than using up all the crap that lies about in the shed!

You’ll be able to use 4.5″ discs on the 5″ grinder but not the other way round obviously, unless you removed the guard! Not a good idea for your fingers tho! Variable speeds are useful for using polishing mops and the like.
Discs are commonly available for various materials in both sizes, the 1 and 1.6mm thick discs are especially useful as are the intermediates. If you don’t need them urgently give me a shout, email in profile and I’ll post you a wee selection of 5″ discs.

Not looked at the individual specs but ah would think both would have M14 spindles. The 22.2mm refers to to bore in your discs. Both common but the 5″ will be more useful if you source your discs from work!

Flap jack, once the olives are removed there shouldn’t be anything to stop the hoses pulling through, bear in mind that the routing around the bottom bracket may be a bit tight.

Only asked as typically I’ve fannied about with the smartweld and a1s, no experience of the carbon one.
Can’t see how you’d get a hose union through the frame though, popping up to my local shop shortly and will ask in there. They’ve sold a good few of the carbon versions.

Bartyp your description up there could be covered by a voodoo D’jab, like the one I have hanging in the shed! I’ve run it on 26″ and 650b with normal bars and on 700c with drops, lovely ride. Email in profile if you’ve any questions.

Visit your local powdercoaters, take the bike with you and get the blue matched properly, tho I thought everyone knew that black ones are faster!

You could always file the hinges to allow the square section to locate securely. Dunno if you’ve bought them yet afrothunder88 but I have a rake of them left over from a job you’d be more than welcome to.

Apologies for a bit of a hijack but I have a brand new skiddi trailer, never used due to injuries keeping me off the bike, starting building work shortly so it’d be better sold to someone who could use it rather than ending up damaged and in the way. Based in central Scotland.

I’ve got henges on four different bikes at the moment oliwb, have two spares as well, one of which was removed from a fatboy,so that’ll be the same as the one you’re on,having a clear out soon so give me a shout if you’d like one.On inspection the shell is identical but it does seem a bit more padded than the others. If you know it suits your arse I’d stick with it!

I done this recently building a pair of nexties, gave the angry shake a go to no avail.
Ended up taping up all the holes bar one, shoogle it so the nip was roughly around the uncovered hole then henry hoover done the rest!
