    My solution with previous Hope
Issues is put them in a padded envelope. Send them to the helpful hope man and get them serviced. Both times it’s only cost 80 quid and been turned around in a couple of days.

Maybe not the answer you were looking for but it saves a lot of hassle.

I bought a rad cage for my XT mech

    RAD Cage

Has worked flawlessly with a sunrace 11-42 cassette.

I just can’t get over that some people sat in a meeting room and discussed this show and thought yep we will sign this shite off.

In classic single track advice of recommend what you have ….

I looked at g4 and g5, in fact was going to buy a g5.

Bit leftfield but I finally bought a Samsung Xcover 4. Very very impressed with it. Normally I like vanilla android phones like the Motorola’s but this new version of touchwiz that Samsung overlays is non intrusive and it all works seamlessly.

Strava, maps, calls, internet all good. Plus you can use it with gloves on and it’s waterproof and drop proof (untested as yet…..). A good phone for a mtb’r.

    M8 ?

Im still on my M7, over four years now!

The battery is terrible, it freezes all the time and when I type anything it pauses for around 5 to upto 15 secs before the text appears on screen.

I realise this is of no help but thought id just have a rant.

    Cheers

PS – Im probably going to get an HTC 10

    Type ”rcn 210″ into eBay

I’ve just fitted one to my mk5 gti. It’s got Bluetooth , audio streaming, SD card, USB, cd, all cables and looks OEM.

It is a chinese unit but at 68 quid I don’t think it can be beat.

If you want OEM then you are looking at over 400 quid to get a Bluetooth one. Plus you may have to replace your can bus unit to a new version to stop battery drain depending on what year your car is. And thats an extra 70/80 quid on top.

Cheeselets. I want them square not Christmas tree shaped.

I think you are refering to “Treeslets” it is Xmas after all….

    Genius marketing there.

I’ve owned a mk5 golf gti for the last three years. Same engine. Best car I’ve ever owned. Oil consumption is no more or less then any other car i’ve owned. Things to check are oil pick up pipe in sump, these apparently get blocked up, mine was checked and wasn’t blocked. Divert valve, make sure diaphragm is not ripped (loss of power results) and while your at it replace for a revision G one. Has fuel pump cam follower been changed (it’s a 30 quid serviceable part, get it done with yearly oil change). Speaking of oil use Miller’s nanotech at 5 40.

After all this take it to r tech in Hinckley and get it mapped. You will see a reliable, healthy 250 bhp and 300 lbs torque from a stage 1 map.

Do it you won’t regret it.

How has nobody mentioned Aberdeen Steak House…………

Not sure if they have a veggie option though ( I’ve never been in one much the same as I don’t know anyone who has. Always full though. Weird…..)

Does it require a software update? I know mine had a lifespan of around 3.5 hrs until I updated it. Now after updating it’s about 7-8

I once snogged a girl at a house party in Ricky and I took my driving test in Pinner.

    Same here…..Quite a few times….

Live in Watford. Ricky/Croxley is a decent area. Can get a 20 -30K loop in mostly off road so not bad. Whippendell as mentioned above is good. And yes Aston is only an hr away as are woburn/chicksands/swinley and Surrey hills a little bit further. .

Tested a bigwig at Aston Hill demo day. I was impressed. If I was in the market for a 29er hardtail I’m pretty sure I would buy one.

”I find it pretty weird that anyone living in London would vote out, given the massive risk it means to the local economy – the financial industry and the number of European company HQs that might decide to move to Berlin or wherever.”

We are not owned by a European company.

“I would expect the demographic to be mostly below degree level education and below average income for the area apart from a few managers?”

Surprisingly one of the few factories left in NW London and believe it or not bog standard operator on days starts at around 25k going up to around 35k on nights. All negotiated by Union which supports staying but majority of members are out. Strange but true.

Almost everyone I know and work with is ”out”. Work is a very large food factory in London. The demographic of workers as you would expect is very broad.

I am also surprised (maybe I shouldnt be} that a vote out on this forum makes you an idiot. Let’s be honest both sides are spouting lies of all sorts and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Judging everyone who is out as a mindless racist bigot is a bit strong. I personally believe out would benefit myself, children and my family. I await the typical single track flaming that such a statement will cause.

I opted for virgin broadband only. No deals really as your not getting their ” package”.

Best thing I’ve done along with a youview box and a chromecast.

About 30 quid a month but no other annoying extras.

Have seen the first 9 episodes.

I have read all the Shannara books (38 of them!) and after watching that trailer was pretty excited.

HOWEVER it is disjointed, parts have simply been made to fit and is basically Twilight but with different characters. Not sure why I have carried on with it.

Give it a go but I fear you may be disappointed.

Agree about the Magician being preferable as a series.

    Me – “Hello”
Them – Beginning of PPI/Computer/Accident bullshit
Me – “This is a government number. How did you get it?” Turn head to one side and loudly shout ” Trace on line 5, put a trace on line 5”

    They normally hang up.

Or my personal favourite of simply saying in a whisper as soon as you pick up phone

”its done, but there’s a lot of blood. What shall I do with the body?”

    Normally hanging up quickly occurs.

People seem to have moved away from the real issue here.

I’m a great believer in that you can judge a persons respect for human life in the way they treat animals. Some people like dogs, some like cats (I’ve had both)but in no uncertain terms would I deliberately kill behead etc etc anything.

This is one sick individual who I would believe is almost certainly a danger to society and as said on another post I hope the police are taking this seriously.

Did this a few yrs ago. Yes broadband only may (depending on deals) be slightly more expensive BUT for the sake of not having to ring up and cancel every year, try and get better deal, get roped into 18 sometimes 24 month contract I’m willing to pay the extra quid a month. Never had any issues with it either. Let’s be honest 30quid a month for something that gets used every day, connects all devices and the you view box is really a pretty good deal.

Thanks for all the info. I live in Watford so may make the trip up when the weather dries out a bit.

is there a “Best” place to park around there?

Keep your 9 speed gear. Buy a cheap 12-36 shimano cassette from CRC, currently about a tenner. 30t narrow wide and your sorted.

Eh voila cheap 1×9. Your not losing out really on a 1×10 apart from a little top end speed.

Like most of other posts I would recommend some sort of variant of starting strength, stronglifts 5×5 etc etc.

However when the weights start to get heavy and you increase your rest periods I guarantee you will be in there longer than 45 mins. I was doing 5 min rests a few months ago when I got upto 110kg squat. That’s 20 mins rest per work set. Not including warm up sets.

    Do it. It’s great.

How many people do you know with a 3D Tv?

In my opinion curved will go the same way as 3D. People will buy it but then realise that it is ultimately a gimmick. Unless of course you buy an 80″ one and sit the right distance from it with a full on home theatre set up. That I imagine would be pretty cool.

Why would you even bother doing this? Forget the number plate issue (if it was my car I would find it annoying) but to go out of your way to take pics to deliberately put on a forum with ratings of what you think and judge people by is quite frankly a bit weird.

I can’t help but wonder what interesting antics you have planned for this afternoon. Maybe take some pics of people’s trolleys at the checkouts at Tesco?

I really don’t understand why everyone is getting so upset. The first time I went to swinley years ago I pedalled around asking for ” the gulley”. I found it and was somewhat disappointed with four rollable tables in a ditch. Haven’t bothered going back since. I am no way a free ride expert but it really wasn’t up to much. I understand people use it as progression to bigger things but if you just ride up to babymaker etc etc you would find tables berms etc etc that you can jump, roll over, ride slow/fast at your leisure.

@nbt if you download allcast from googleplay it you can cast pretty much anything. ie:sd card with go pro files straight to telly.
