Just ordered mine….like just now!, I’m 6’2″ and gone for the 19″, hope to f!!! It fits me, also gone for the reverb dropper, my fs is 20″ but the p7 has a longer top tube etc so should be bob on size size. Can’t imagine riding a 21″ one

Cool, I’m looking at ordering one today, lovely sleek lines, simple and cracking colour scheme.
How tall are you and what size have you gone for?, I’m 6’2″ so torn between L and XL, …although leaning towards large due to the longer top tube

Thanks All, yes I appreciate UST rarely features nowadays and you need to check compliance in the spec.

I am looking at some WTB Bronsons, and an option are the Scwalbe Hans Damphs ?.

The t129 frame has a modification / welded bracket detail to pick up the front mech generally where a chain device would go

    Neil
What tip would you recommend to stop the chain coming off, a problem my mate experiences as the bike shop forgot to put it back on!!, his chain is tight etc

    Cheers

Driving is one of the easiest methods of self hypnotising. After many years of driving it becomes more of a habit than a taxing challenge . Subsequently your brain switches into the sub conscience (or something along these lines ????) and you can therefore not remember much of the journey despite being in full control.
You have probably worried like hell about this and have now created an anxiety problem ?. I doubt for a minute there is anything sinister in it. Don’t stop driving, write down why you should not fear the problem and read it out to yourself a few times every few hours…..and then expose yourself to the fear, avoiding driving or simile lines will not help.

Either way excessive aggressively to reduce stress, chill out with more tea stops, stop giving so much of a fuk about work and keep head string about the problem

    Best of luck

Dougie was an absolute legend in mytholmroyd who sold and maintained most
People’s mountain bikes in the early years, the great man spent many hours putting my wheels straight
And flogging me cheap kenda tyres until I could afford his physco IIs with red tyre walls!.
Many a time I turned up to find him shut……, no problem, you just knocked on his house door and he would sort you out.

Was absolutely gutted to hear of his sudden passing (courtesy of Cape asbestos co !), I am sure tomorrow’s service will be huge.

    Rip Dougie.

Try and find one from Arnold Clark, whilst they are the most retched salesmen and company to deal with, simply go in, tell what they will!! pay for the mini, and then how little you will pay for the V50……they then bring out the sales manager in his dirty burton suit, some forms to sign and you then drive off quite satisfied.

This seriously happened to me last year with the wifes car.

I had an 09 d5 r-design, so cant really comment on engine etc, however the car was decent looking and mechanically perfect for the full lease term. Size wise this is definitely a sportswagon rather than an estate in all respects so pretty much perfect for what you want. Think they also come with a secondary cargo / dog net too, if not they are pretty cheap on the bay!.

Hmmm quick to judge…., bar the deposit, the car is 100% self funded by her including insurance cover, she works 3 nights a week and all weekend in a pub, not a case of daddys girl syndrome, rest assured her old man aint going to bail her out to the tune of 6k.

The independent report concludes that the hose (which caused this problem) was most likely split during the earlier crash as it also came detached and was replaced using generic “none BMW” clamps. The damage to the hose was probably missed. Whilst this is no excuse, and she appreciates shes f***ed up it only adds to their frustration.

Despite this report the insurance co. simply wont accept it and claim that some debris from the road had bounced up and split a reinforced 7mm thick coolant pipe…

I totally appreciate its her fault and have very little compassion!, however I would think Comprehensive car insurance covers pretty much covers most accidents irrespective of blame. Like I said people fall asleep at the wheel, crash whilst texting or not concentrating…………all things we know we should not do but again insurers still pay out.

This dilemma in a round about way is no different to any of the above. The car did not go into safe mode with limited speed like many cars do nowadays, the light was also not on continuous whilst on a journey.

That is just bizzare?, borderline ridiculous, and a smidge under 3k.
Compare this offering with Canyons stunning range of 29rs.

    Tiptop,

Consider the Pug 3008?, my wife has had one for 12 months and it is the most versatile and best car I have ever driven, its also huuuuuge! inside. Seats fall flat, including the passenger seat just by flipping a lever and the boot drops to the floor and can be split into 2 compartments.
You could probably pick one up for about 8k or just passport one form somewhere like Arnold Clark.

Put it this way, I have a 37k V60 parked on my drive that goes no where on a weekend, I simply cant keep out of the bus!.

    All,

Many thanks for the comments, responce and advice, all very very much appreciated.

My wife is 29 and a fully qualified ACT pharmacy technician, which is basicaly as high up as you can go from a technicians perspective.

I am 36, had the same job from school, now a director etc. working in architectural concrete and GRC products, got C&G AutoCad qualifications, a highly employable CV but thats pretty much it.

Fortunately any costs for visas / moving is not a problem.

May consider one of the events moreover just to get an angle on what needs to be done etc.

    Many thanks

    Rag.

Does anyone remember “Nicks” trainers !!!! ? (you will as you would most definately would been bullied for wearing them at school). Back in the mid 90s I went out with a girl called Nicola Kendel and her Grandad was the designer and co-director for a large shoe company. When Nicola was born her Grandad established the Nicks brand around her name and in her honour.

    Beat that !

Without a shadow of doubt Bontrager XR4s, top all rounders……. and on clearance on all terrain cycles website at £11.98 / each!!!!!

Ok they are 2.2s but wide as chuff!!!, look more like 2.3 / 2.4s.

On my second pair now, and no punctures at all on my last pair.

Failing this spend about £70 notes on a similar set

    You are seriously missing out!!!.

Earlier this week when we had the day of snow (about 1″ in Hebden), it appeared that everyone my wife knows on FB posted a crappy poor res picture of their back garden, with the obligatory 1″ of snow, with the album headed “snow!!!!!”….

I have neither, and proud to F&%k of the fact.

My brother built up a very harcore version of one of these, and it was one of the best bikes he has ever had, I also had the opportunity to play with it several times. Stiff ride ?, Ok his had big tubeless tyres but the bike had the flexi feel of a good steel bike, no harshness / zing on the back end at all, whilst remaining very direct.
Strange review, and for 300 sheets a quality steed

Only this morning,I took a call from “RBS Mentoring Services”, asking to speak to the myself.

Turns out they were offering exactly this!, MENTORING!

We have been a succesful business for 21 years who have had to put up with these retched bastards as as our bankers, inparticularly over the last 6 years.

I kindly told the young lad on the phone that I dont need to be mentored by a failed, bailed out firm that I actualy own! and then advised him I was too busy trying to cope with my 3rd RBS bank manager in 16 months and the fact our 3rd facflow manager in 12 months was leaving this Friday.
