    Intel statement[/url]

“…many types of computing devices — with many different vendors’ processors and operating systems — are susceptible to these exploits.”

“Contrary to some reports, any performance impacts are workload-dependent, and, for the average computer user, should not be significant and will be mitigated over time.”

The 5 won’t update past 10.3.3 – that’s the last one released for them. You won’t be able to get both phones on the same iOS version

What’s going to happen when Governments and Central Banks get the feeling that there’s a lot of buying and selling going on outside of the economies they control?

That is the question! There’s an interesting doco on Netflix about it

Imagine I paid you one Dash coin. That transaction is recorded in a ledger, which in turn is kept on computers all over the word, rather than a central server. Each transaction can be verified by doing some computer processing on it – if the result of that processing doesn’t match the result stored in the copy of the ledger on one of the computers, it can be said that that copy of the ledger is incorrect (has been hacked, or became corrupt) and it is then discarded. This is the blockchain and it’s how it’s kept secure.

Now, that processing needs to come from somewhere, and this is where mining comes in. People process the computations required to keep the blockchain secure on their machines and in turn are rewarded with a new coin, once enough transactions have been processed to uncover the next one.

At the start of a crypto-currency’s life, coins come up quite quickly, but each time it takes longer and longer to be rewarded with the next one in the sequence (there are a finite number)

In to my last week on Champix today. It’s literally amazing – as in I could not believe how well it worked. Three days in to quitting I was on a big night out – the type where I’d be buying a second 20 deck from the barman at 3am – and I wasn’t fussed about smoking in the slightest. It was like flicking a switch and suddenly feeling the same as a non-smoker must do.

I actually forgot to take it the other day and I didn’t notice, so quietly optimistic for next week when the course is finished.

The nicer bits of town are BGC and Makati. Plenty of restaurants and bars in both of those – some good craft beers if that’s your thing. When I’m there I’m a bit further North in Quezon City, where there is an incredible restaurant called Van Gogh is Bipolar. The guy that runs it is bipolar and cooking helps him keep on an even keel, and he uses mood enhancing ingredients (not that kind). It was a really cool experience, but depending on traffic, could take you 1.5 – 3 hours to get there from the airport end of town.

Check out spot.ph for eating and drinking. And of course, there’s always the midget little people boxing…

I’ve got those Wahl ones on the amazon link, they have just turned 7. They’re still going battery wise but the rubber coating is beginning to look a bit tatty

EDIT: “Features 45 minutes run time when fully charged” lol, yeah they don’t do that any more but it does maybe three or four cuts before needing a charge

I get this if my shoes are done up too tight. I feel it on the outside of the foot around where the toe meets the foot, but a bit further back. However it’s the main ratchety closure at the top of the shoe (ie nowhere neat that!) that causes it.

I back these off a bit and I guess the bloodflow improves

My second ever bike was a Raleigh Amazon, after my first, a Giant Stonebreaker, was nicked out of the shed.

The paint job was called ‘Brazilian Rain’ and it was gorgeous. Just look at it!

Also I had a brown Twenty a couple of years ago for scooting about in hipster London. Matt, you were just ahead of the curve.

Are we talking road? Are you a club member?

My club organises structured training sessions with a professional coach. It’s as a group so works out cheap at about £2 each session (although obviously you don’t get too much personal attention)

It really helped with my speed and fitness when I actually took it seriously (which it sounds like you will).

Aaaand you’ve got DrugStock_ID which looks like a foreign key but no actual constraint to go with it.

I’m assuming you’ve made a choice with which columns to index?

A bit of space and ordering things properly helps

(by the way I don’t use MySQL so providing no guarantees!)

When he gets to the point of doing an insert… we aren’t there yet!

‘Wait time’, unless it’s the ID from a list of pre-determined wait times, doesn’t sound like it should be a foreign key. Sounds like just a bit of data on this table.

    radtothepowerofsik

I guess it was referencing the Treatment_WaitTime column? Although that was on the FACT table not the TREATMENT one?

    radtothepowerofsik

    CONSTRAINT Treat_WaitTime
    FOREIGN KEY ()
    REFERENCES nhs1.Treatment ()

This constraint doesn’t have a column or a foreign key defined like the rest do. Take it out, it’s not doing anything and it’s probably causing your error

Oh! No, no Russian gangsters. Maybe a bit different then. I was going on this from Goodreads:

It begins with a boy. Theo Decker, a thirteen-year-old New Yorker, miraculously survives an accident that kills his mother. Abandoned by his father, Theo is taken in by the family of a wealthy friend. Bewildered by his strange new home on Park Avenue, disturbed by schoolmates who don’t know how to talk to him, and tormented above all by his unbearable longing for his mother, he clings to one thing that reminds him of her: a small, mysteriously captivating painting that ultimately draws Theo into the underworld of art.

As an adult, Theo moves silkily between the drawing rooms of the rich and the dusty labyrinth of an antiques store where he works. He is alienated and in love-and at the center of a narrowing, ever more dangerous circle.

The Goldfinch combines vivid characters, mesmerizing language, and suspense, while plumbing with a philosopher’s calm the deepest mysteries of love, identity, and art. It is an old-fashioned story of loss and obsession, survival and self-invention, and the ruthless machinations of fate.

New York, orphan boy, money, torment, making it as an adult, art, mystery, love, survival, fate… all in there. Although it’s certainly not a gangster story

John – Goldfinch sounds much like ‘A Little Life’. On the list
