Not sure what you mean, is the calliper sitting to low and hitting the top of the rotor or do you mean hitting the mount adapter?

I’ve got a pair, only wore them on two rides though so don’t know how well they last.
Haven’t washed them yet just tried to hose the mud off (didn’t work there still manky) Hand wash only even though the website said machine washable.

Sizing is a tricky I’m between sizes on almost everything these are no different.
I wear a 32 in jeans and the shorts are a medium (32-34) I find them a bit tight and have to pull them down a bit to get over my kneepads/stop the gap. The large would fall clean off me, only ratchet adjust and no belt loops.

They seem pretty waterproof so far, I feel colder when I’m dry inside them (might just be me) and the pockets behave weirdly when you have stuff in them.

    err… hope this helps.

Edit, and they were £60 when I got them from CRC at the end of november

I ordered a pair of gloves on Friday for £23. today the price is £35 the £23 has came out of my account and haven’t had any contact yet. So who knows what will happen haven’t heard of them before either.

As much as I want to hate them I recon I’d probably use that new Mavic one. But you know just where there aren’t people around or do what they’re designed for travelling fast and light and not stopping to listen to the ridicule.

I ordered a pair of Royal Storm shorts, no idea what the’re going to be like couldn’t find much in the way of reviews but they look good, plain and not waterproof-y.
Not arrived yet but will be tested soon, got 4 days off over the weekend so guaranteed to be pissing down.

    No Forks
    No shock
    No freehub
    No grips
No mountainbiking for me, probably take the BMX to the pump/BMX track if it stays dry.
And I’ve been off work all week!

slight hijack while were on the ESI subject.
Mine are a year and a bit old now and starting to spin at the end, is this just dirt getting under and not gripping or do they eventually stretch?

Cheers Chris, I had the Mavic part numbers, which ones did you order from BETD? their years seem off.

Do you know if they are just standard 6805 bearings for the front and 6903 for the rear? Only 1 seal?

I thought I’d get the usual avid comments but there two and a half years old this might be the third time I’ve bled them and never had a problem bleeding any brakes.
They’ve been great so far this is the first problem and I got a new internals kit with bladder/springs/pivot pin reach adjuster/bushes for £15 so can’t really complain about that (if it fixes it) just need to go and get more oil.

I could open up the rear brake to see if it matches but would rather not since it works fine
I was hoping someone would know to save me the hassle.

and it’s definitely not the part for the circlip.
I circled it here, in case no one new what i was meaning

Always hard to tell from pics though.

I think because it gone by so quick you don’t really know what you’ve seen, my first thought was flare but it was way too bright and didn’t last long enough.

Sounds like the topcap bushings are worn, mine did the same but I had to sit on the back of the saddle or wiggle to get it going down.

You could try Bikelove. Carl is the only person I trust to fix anything on my bikes (In the two times I’ve taken them to a shop)

Just bought a bunch of stuff from CRC on Monday, thought I would be annoyed to see it in the sale, Turns out the sale price is the same as the non-sale price.
CRC have sale graphics not sales!

From what I can tell the Fabric Scoop Elite Radius is the same as the Charge Scoop but Fabric have added two extra profiles to the saddles. (I wonder if they still creak like my Charge Scoop)

You might have more luck finding a Fabric Scoop.

I never thought about using tape to wipe off I was going to use the old seal and hope it would wipe off any excess as it’s getting replaced anyway.
The scratches are pretty small but the old seal still catches on them even after sanding down the rough edges.
I’ll try this tomorrow at work and get under the scopes to make sure it’s properly smooth.

    Cheers for the help

edit, yeah probably would fit in a drill might try that to speed things up

RicB have you done this sort of repair before? I was going to use red nail varnish not just because I’m a whore but thought it would be easier to see when just the scratch is filled and no excess round it.
