The frame was designed for a 160mm fork (he ignored my advice not to put boxxers on it)
So reducing the a to c would probably do him a favour, and the lower crown fowling the frame isn’t really an issue as the frame bumpers stop it achieving full lock. And should have mentioned the fork steerer is normal 1 1/8 not taper.
Thanks for everyones help so far

Yeah the law of averages will dictate that the busier the trail the more tossers there will be. I guess posted this in the hope that one or both the offending parties would read it, @ pmcclure were you wearing a blue jacket

@cyinac-al no sorry no team lycra, but i dont get the whole ATGNI, i rode a POS carrera for a 6 months and saved my pennies and got a good deal on a secondhand trek which i now take good care off, i wash my gear after every ride as i like to wear clean clothes (must be part of basic training coming through again). clearly all off this combined means that I or anyone else that likes shiny bikes and clean clothes clearly should’t ride anything other than the carpark.

as regards to headphones i honestly cant say i have ever seen the sign about not wearing them
