Yep will post them up later. Pretty happy with that time down Minton Batch given it was my first go! Had to hop over a dead sheep at the top, smelly.

Really enjoying my 45650B at the moment

Just got back from Long Mynd. Awesome day out!

34 miles and 5,500ft ascent. Minton Batch was brilliant but not as brilliant as my sun tan lines!

Big bike. It’s pretty rough on the whole. CX bike will be a chore

I’ll probably head there Friday morning so hopefully walkers won’t be too much of a problem.

Cheers guys, i’ve ridden Coed many times and fancy something new. Does that GPS route I’ve posted above look alright? Don’t want to miss the best bits!

Sorted it – you can use this – http://strava-tools.raceshape.com/vpu/

Creates a CRS file from anyones activities and you can upload them straight to your device. Or, upload to the likes of RWGPS and export a GPX from there.

    Winner

In fact, its actually the same for everyones activity apart from mine?! I can export my activities as GPX but only Create Routes from anyone else. Is that normal?

Sorry forgot to add that I’m already a premium member. I can ask him to send them to me but thought I would be able to save him the trouble.

Anyone race at Chorlton last night? Faaaast pace

I suspect the 10 speed is a 11-36 cassette and the 11 speed being a 10-42. Basically 11 speed gives more range at both ends

    Oh one more questions.

    Are any vaccinations mandatory?

Thanks guys, we’re staying in a beach resort all inclusive but will be elephant trekking etc etc.

Guess we’ll need to fill out the questionnaires first

The invoice says the delivery address and the sold to address are the same (wife’s work) which is incorrect. It was sold to and paid for by me.

I was expecting some costs to be paid. I’ll get onto them

The invoice that have sent is actually a copy of the invoice from Jenson USA to me. UPS are asking for clearance instructions against this invoice

I’ve also been mulling over this. I’ve never done that much distance on MTB in one go but I did equal the ascent over 70 miles in the Peak District recently. Anyone know if the route is actually any good? Or just field bashing? Mostly off road etc?

I’m hoping that lap times will end up on roots and rain. There is a great lap / position chart on there.

I somehow managed to claw my way from 30th to 11th in the racer cat! Happy with that, will be aiming for solid top 10 from now on.

Average speed was 12.5mph, i’ve done slower road rides…

I was convinced that I only had to do 5 laps. I fought like hell to keep someone behind me only to cross the line and find out I had another lap! Didn’t manage to keep the guy behind me for long after that but didn’t loose another position after him.

Chorlton next. Last year was a mudfest, hopefully it wont be this year. Looks like they’ve changed the course a little too.

If you enjoy these races check out the nutcracker series.

Yep I was in the racer cat. Was like having a mud shower for the first lap

I was on a Cannondale Fsi (lefty). Just watched a video of the start that my wife took, I’m normally near the front into the first corner, I was 30th last night :-s

I think we were very lucky with the rain but the trails were saturated and slippy as hell!

Results normally on Facebook within a day or two and sometimes make their way onto BC.

I had a woeful start but made up a ton of places. Overtaking was tough at times so had to give it full beans up the climb after the long straight. My lap times were over a minute quicker than last year and that includes the additional jaunt around the field at the end of each lap! Very happy about that!

    Mark McPhillips has scratched.

He stayed at the Dundonnell hotel last night and is unable to continue this morning. He’s trying to figure out how to get back as he cant ride! Legs, knees, back trouble etc etc.

Looks like Tom stopped for a few hours just north of Fort Augustus last night

That sucks big time Josh. Did Tom offer his commiserations as he passed you or secretly give a little fist pump? Hope your journey home is a safe one.

Mark McPhillips is safe and taking a well earned rest in Dundonnel Hotel after 20 hours riding, biving at 3:30 and up since 5am.

Mark McPhillips has been in Tesco for several hours now, either that or he’s forgotten his tracker, or his bike and left on foot.

HT550? Nah, Ilan Rubinstein is gong for the HT1100….

Looks like Josh and Tom have met now. Will Tom give him the fingers as he flys past or will they stick together.

That’s a shame. Still an unbelievable accomplishment for the lad.

Looks like Ilan Rubinstein isnt going to cross paths with Josh as he’s ing for Lochcarron now

I’m guessing Phil’s time from last year is well and truly out of scope.
